We recently had to have our furnace replaced due to cracks in the heat exchange vents. After reading reviews and deciding to go with a local **************** company, we reached out to True North Heating and Cooling for a quote. Unfortunately, due to winter temperatures, we did not get other quotes. However, within a couple days of requesting a quote and some much appreciated scheduling adjustments by ********************** came by, did a company presentation, walked the house, took measurements and spent about 2-3 hours making sure we understood the quote and the work being performed. Our friends and family thought the quote was high, but when comparing just the cost of replacing the furnace to their furnace replacement quote from another company, they were basically the same. Our home was built in **** and what was allowed back then is not now. Adjustments were needed to our furnace ducts, return air ducts and 3 return air vents were added throughout the house since we only had one. I must say, very creative work by ****************** and crew.I work from home and have immediately noticed that the heat in the basement level is the same as the heat in the top floor, a vast improvement from the old furncace.On a side note, our hot water tank needed new duct work due to its size and a safety issue, this drastically changed our water temperature, for the better, getting hotter water quicker.I highly recommend True North Heating and Cooling.********************** and staff come as advertised; friendly, professional and knowledgeable, a great company to deal with. Theres not enough stars to recommend this company. Due installation issues with ***************** and Heating who would not even sit down with me to come to a solution, **** and his staff took phone calls and home visit with no charge to answer my questions and resolve the installation problem.They are very helpful and concerned about their customers. I was always treated respectfully. They did a wonderful job reinstalling the pipes for the furnace. I now have no noise and can sleep at night. When they took the pipes out there was water in them. Will be referring them to everyone.

I can't give 6 stars so 5 will have to do. I called True North for help with a thumping noisy furnace because they had the best rating. ***** came over and told me what could happen to the furnace with a small hole in the exchanger. He also pointed out every single code violation that the last installer had made. Even on gas lines that had nothing to do with the furnace! That gave me confidence that these guys knew what they were doing so I asked them to install a new high efficiency Lennox furnace. **** and his assistant installed the furnace in a highly professional manner. They spent extra time on the little things that make a job look neat. It shows.Afterwards, they explained everything that we needed to know. The furnace is so quiet now we can't hear it start up and my wife loves its even heat and finger tip controls. It also has a higher efficiency than the old one, saving us money every month. We haven't seen customer service like this for a long time. Thanks True North!
