  Misrepresentation of items Purchased. For many years I have been a good customer of this family business, and with no complaints in the past. However since the retirement of the owners the business carries on by other family members. Over the last 6 months I have purchased items that are either broken AND not able to work. I understand the way auctions in the past work, and it is a good idea to check and make sure things work during the preview as Big Valley Auctions suggest. My complaint is that items that some items that I purchased stated in the description saying item is TESTED & WORKING. Unfortunatly the items I purchased cannot be tested at the auction location so one has to rely on the auction house to supply a correct description, which I did. One of the last items I purchased had said in the online description Tested & Working. Owing to having problems before I decided to check one of the item in question after I had paid for it, and found that it was missing pieces. This item in no way would have worked, but in the description it was tested and working. I asked for my money back ...... I was told I should have checked prior to purchasing, hence my complaint. After checking with other online auctions I found that their discriptions of similar items that I purchased state "missing Parts" ' Not working' or 'broken'. so why is it so hard for this company to do the same. When I told the person that the description of items was wrong she said there is not enough room to put everything in the space provided, yet other auction places that use the same format can do it. The final thing that made me consider writing this complaint was she was going to contact other auction places to tell them how nasty I am and not to deal with me. I am a customer that has suported this business since it started, and to be treated this way is pathetic. I decided to write a review on this business, which I did. I also noticed many other reviews with the same complaint as mine. The reason behind reviews is so owners of businesses can inprove and carry on. The following day after the review the same lady to whom I complained called me she was so **** and ******* I had to hang up. All they had to do was correct the problem, and I would probably still be a cutomer today. I had been in business for many years, and understand the dificulties. Customer service is crutial and the young lady giving out the ****** ***** needs to realize that.

  These items were advertised as Tested and working, some were missing parts or just not working

  There were other items but I ended up trashing them in the garbage
