            The service and advice I received from ** Wide was, as it has always been in years past, prompt, efficient and gracious! The cost was very reasonable and there were no surprises. In short, I appreciate and trust the work and the advice. Thank you for looking after our furnace and heating ducts and hot water tank. It is comforting to know all it working as it should!

            Technician is very professional and office staff is very professional too. They consider customer needs as the first priority. They keep the previous owners' maintenance record, such a great help to me as a new owner of the furnace. To better support the local honest long term driven company as ** Wide, my way is to give them 5 star review and warm hugs.

            This is a thank you, thank you, thank you note! One thank you goes to Wahab for his meticulous multiple gas appliance maintenance service. He was a pleasure to work with! He did a very good job getting the fire places clean, especially the one in the basement that needed a simple adjustment in the gas pressure to stop exploding on firing up. The filter in the one-year old furnace was pretty dirty because I did not realize or forgot to replace it every 6 months. So I believed him when he convinced me to invest in a permanent filter that I can just clean myself. He showed me how to take it out and replace it; now I just need a reminder to do so. It also is a bonus in this extraordinary heat to have my well-functioning air conditioning unit! I appreciated in hindsight that ***** convinced me to get the air ducts cleaned. The air quality in the house is notably better! *****, who did the work, was a very pleasant young man who impressed me with his punctuality, work performance, his outlook on life, and his ambition to do a good job. You do have good people that work for you and it speaks for ** Wide Home Services good judgement in hiring contractors and its management practices. I am glad that I can turn with confidence to your company for all those maintenance services that make my house a pleasure to live in. Thank you once again, **********

            We are very happy that we found BC Wide via this BBB website. They did everything required to replace our old **** with a much better one. The whole process from first contact to installation was quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. The General Manager helped us research brands and when we decided on the specific one we wanted she sourced a supplier and sent us a very reasonable quote the very next day. I was glad they required us to have one of their technicians come to check out our former installation setup, because he discovered a couple of helpful things we needed ahead of the new installation, such as the limits of our condo’s current power situation and whether the existing line set could be used for the new unit and recommending upgrades. He also discovered that the previous installation had not met code in terms of installing a "disconnect", so they sent their electrician to install it within days. Less than a week later, the technician returned to install the new ****. He did a great job, cleaned up after himself, took away all the packaging and boxes, and even took away the 2 parts of the previous unit for disposal.

            We had a tech attend to inspect our furnance on January 17, 2022 after we detected a gas smell in the back yard and has a ****** technician attend to confirm it was not a leak from the meter. The tech said everything appeared fine with the furnace but that it was likely under combusting the natural gas and recommended that we extend the vent to above the roof line. We had him come back to do that work. We later started to notice a gas smell in our master bedroom and had a ****** technician come to take measurements, he confirmed that there was a gas leak from one of the fittings by the furnace, that the connection between the furnace and the exhaust was not proper, and that the exhaust contained extremely high levels of C02. He decommissioned our furnace. The BC Wide technician did not report any of these issues to us including the improperly installed fitting between the furnace and the exhaust, which was in place when he attended.

            We are sorry to hear about this issues with your furnace, on first attending no gas leak was detected inside, there was however one detected outside which is why we suggested extending the vent. As the repair was done outside and no previous leak had been detected we were aware that there was a problem with that connection.
