The estimate to paint a room and change floors was reasonable and because of positive reviews I went with this company. Once they had my deposit, the price of the floor project jumped $2600 (almost a 100% increase on the floor project) citing the floor prep was this much more. Their vehicles boldly state that if the estimate is wrong they will absorb the cost. I requested my deposit back but was denied. Settled on doing the painting. The workers were good, but the first day all day the timing of arrival kept changing. Instead of 8:30 they came at 2:00 with a few change of times in between. Next day was told 8 am sharp but that didnt happen either. I would definitely not recommend this company!

Hello ******, Our Final Quote Guarantee is promised as always. I am sorry that you had misunderstood the difference from your estimate to your final quote. Here is what happened with your Estimate and then the Final Quote. First **** had estimated $4849 for both the painting and the flooring projects. You accepted this approx value and sent in your deposit for the painting project, and the flooring project. This was an estimate, not a quote, you can see that as it says it in bold letters at the top of the estimate, as well it has +/- next to the line items with the dollar values. We then sent in our designer which we pay out of this deposit to pick your paint colours, and flooring materials. **** then found out that the prep work would be very extensive. So he then sent you the FINAL QUOTE at that point, for an extra of $2371.09. He let you know that the floor prep went way above what he had anticipated, and that you can for sure go elsewhere for the floor, and that it would not impact the painting project. You then said no to the floor, so we just painted the room instead, completing the painting project. We used your deposit to paint the room. You were not out of any money as your painting estimate did not change when we did the final quote. And the entire deposit was applied to your painting. As you can see from this, that we do indeed guarantee our final quote. Once receiving the final quote, the invoice did not change. You had agreed to the final quote that had the flooring project removed from it, and we did not increase the price from the final quote. In regards to our employees not showing up at 8 sharp, I spoke with *** and he said that the traffic from ********** to ********** was very bad, and that he had kept you updated on the situation. We unfortunately can not control traffic going from ********** to **********, all that we can do is try our best, and let the clients know if anyone is running late.
