I have been a customer of their pharmacy at *************** in *********, ****************, for over 20 years and have always been satisfied with their service, sometimes excellent and sometimes mediocre. However, the last two times I have ordered medication from them, I was surprised. Last month, I went to pick up my medication. Suddenly, it was $700 to $800.00. I asked why it is so much as I have medical insurance. The girl at the counter said the insurance plan maximum has been reached. I told her it is January 2025, I have not used it at all.Another associate called *** came and was very helpful and seemed to know what to do. They now had to redo my medication, so I could not get my medication and had to come back to get it. I am a senior, 73 years old and without a car so I take a taxi to pick up my medication. As a result, I not only could not take any immediately needed medication but had to spend again to get a taxi the next day.But it does not stop there. I went to pick up my medication again today, February 11th. And would you believe it, they charged me full price again. I asked the same lady who served me last time in January, why my insurance was not on there. She again said that maximum has been reached. I reminded her it is only February, and this time I was getting upset. Nobody there this time knew what was happening, the management there now is totally incompetent. I left my medication and will transfer to another pharmacy. After being a loyal customer for nearly 20 years, they have made me look elsewhere. I also transferred my mother's medication from this pharmacy, Shoppers Drug Mart ******************************User's recommendation: Go to a pharmacy where they are competent, and will not mess up your medication.
