I was referred here by my family dentist and the dental work was fine. Unfortunately, despite telling my my benefits covered the treatment, they did not tell me they did not direct bill (my regular dentist does). I was handed a large unexpected bill at the end of the procedure. Reception said they would forward the info to my benefits provider and I would be promptly refunded when they receive the documents. I contacted my provider to check on the progress of my claim, but they had not received it. Upon contacting Rapha, I was told they send in claims through the mail and it "could take a few weeks." This is very ********** and leaves me wondering why they are one of the few dental providers that don't offer direct billing to major benefit plans. I requested that they notify future patients that direct billing is not offered and that they do no submit claim forms online, thus the process is much longer than it needs to be. Unfortunately the receptionist was dismissive and sees no problem with antiquated and ********** business practices.
