on Dec 30, 2022 Kevin W***** called me, identified himself by name, and told me that a former employee of mine (someone who quit more than a year ago) had taken a loan out and used my cell phone number as the contact phone number. He claimed she is past due on paying the loan back and that he would have no choice but to robo-call my phone hundreds of times per day until she pays the money back. I told him that the employee doesn't work for me anymore, I don't know how to get in touch with her and that I don't know anything about any loan. He said that I was 'wasting his time' and he hung up. 1 year ago he did this for a period of several weeks before calling to finally talk and inform me that he was looking for this particular employee and I told him then that they had already quit. I recently took a small ****** loan ** ** **** **** ****** **** **** ********** ****** Unfortunately I missed a payment. The next day I had a gentleman named Kevin W***** contact me and identified himself as a collections agent. I asked if there was something would could arrange and he became very aggressive and *********** After hanging up, he proceeded to robodial my number over 200 times. He also did the same to my employer, * ********* ** ***** ***** *** **** **** ****** ** ** *** ****** * ****** ***** I am trying to come up with the money, but I fully expect this to continue. I've never had things got to collections, so this is quite new and disturbing to me. This company is the ****** unprofessional outfit l have ever in my career dealt with. They are constantly blocking our lines with anonymous calls. Because one of our so called employees owes money to someone. What they may not have the ability to understand as there ****** language and thought process won't allow them, is that if they are disrupting the company this so called person works for, how are people suppose to get paid when the company has no business . The ********** from Kevin W***** working for the company began Nov. 7, 2022. He says he is calling on behalf of **** ****** *****, who contacted me and offered to give me a loan. I turned it down and didn’t sign the loan agreement, at which time the company said they had already sent the funds ($500). Then they started to harass me and my family by *********** to come after me if I didn’t give them back their money. They ********* accessed my bank account and somehow made a deposit two days later without my knowledge or consent. I do not have preauthorized deposit so I should have been notified of the transaction and given a chance to reject it. I did not get that. I took out a small short term loan of $500 with a company called ****************. There was an error on their end that resulted in a payment being drafted from my account on a day that did not fall on my pay cycle. With the click of a button, Tamara at ********* sent me an email notifying me that my account was being transferred to collections. No other attempts were made by her or ********* to contact me. With in an hour I received a second email from Kevin at Canadian Debt Collect. The email read to the effect **** *** ****** *** *** ** **** *** ***** ****** At this point it is 5am and I am sleeping. Have yet to see my email. My phone was also never called by ANYONE from either “offices.” At 7:30 my friend lets me know she received 3 calls back to back from a blocked number and one voicemail from a man named Kevin saying that if I don’t not contact him right away he will continue to call all day, including my work and other references provided in the application process. Red flags went off and I emailed both companies right away. Provided an additional bank verification and pay stubs to show that they had made an error in the payment schedule. They accepted it and stopped contact but At this point something was not sitting right with me. Which brought me here to find the numerous complaints. I am now terrified that I may have made a really big mistake working with these people. I want to pay the 500 back but what if they still want more ? The company loaned me money. I hae now received over 300 collection calls from Canadian debt collectors company. I hae asked them to cease and dismissed but they keep calling
