Once again, I received high quality service from Wade Roberts Plumbing for a hot water tank replacement this time. Scott is meticulous and professional and helpful as well as very friendly. He answered all my questions and left my place like he'd never been here. I will definitely recommend Scott and his company to everyone I know who might need plumbing services. We're extremely happy with Wade Roberts Plumbing. They responded quickly to our plugged kitchen sink emergency. Scott expertly resolved the problem and patiently answered all my questions. He was friendly, courteous, and professional and left the kitchen spotless! A special shout-out to wonderful Delaney who was very helpful in expediting the repair. Date of Service: October 13th Reason for Service: Toilet is making a noise/constantly running. Service Person: Zach I have what is referred to as a Japanese toilet (a toilet/sink all-in-one) on my main floor and was turned away by three other plumbing outfits because no one had experience with this type of toilet. The third plumbing company referred me to Wade Roberts and I sent their team information about the toilet upfront. The Wade Roberts team came back and said 'we can fix this!' I was certain I'd have to replace the whole toilet/sink combination, but they were able to source the parts well within my budget. When Zach came for the installation, I got him to replace the parts for my master (a normal North American) toilet at the same time - we all know if one toilet is going to go, the other will go soon thereafter. I am thrilled with the work done and Zach's professionalism. I would definitely recommend Wade Roberts Plumbing to my friends!Wade Roberts Plumbing Response

Date of 'service': August 22, 2023 Reason for 'service' call: Non-functioning kitchen faucet. Problem not fixed. ******** ******* ****** *** * *************** ******* ******* ********* **** ****** ** *****************. Red Seal plumber was unfamiliar with a faucet solenoid unit. The solenoid unit was removed in about 10 minutes. The faucet was NOT fixed, but billed $484.12 under the guise of 'troubleshooting'. The replacement part was ordered by customer, ******* **** * ******* ********* **** **** ******* ***** ******* ******** *** ******* ********* ***** Contacted company they offered $100 'goodwill' refund. Insufficient given the amount of the original bill. Further, they would not be welcomed back into my home given their overbilling practices. During the service call, our technician invested a significant amount of time diagnosing the issue and attempting to acquire a replacement solenoid for your kitchen faucet. This involved reaching out to multiple local suppliers as well as making direct inquiries with Delta. Unfortunately, our suppliers indicated that it would take some time for the specific part to arrive, resulting in an unavoidable delay in resolving the problem. It's crucial to emphasize that our company strictly adheres to established protocols when it comes to procuring replacement parts. We exclusively order parts from our trusted wholesalers or directly from the manufacturer. This approach ensures the quality and durability of the components used in our repairs, as these parts come with warranties. Consequently, we do not source parts from retail stores such as Home Depot, Wayfair, Amazon, or Costco, to maintain the integrity of our repairs. Understanding your urgency in having a functional faucet, our technician proposed an alternative solution: replacing the entire faucet with a faucet of your choice, provided by you, the client. Opting for this alternative would have resulted in you being billed solely for the client-supplied faucet replacement, rather than incurring the troubleshooting charge. The cost of this alternative would have been comparable to the troubleshooting charge, but it would have offered a more efficient and conclusive solution to the issue. Based on our records, we understand that you decided against proceeding with the faucet replacement due to a disagreement over the cost. We want to underscore that our preference is always to provide timely and cost-effective solutions to our valued customers. In this specific case, our technician billed you for the "troubleshooting" service, which was intended to cover the time and effort spent diagnosing the issue and attempting to source replacement parts. It's important to note that the costs associated with professional plumbing and gas technicians have seen substantial increases in recent years. We remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining the professionalism of our work, while also offering our clients excellent value. On a Tuesday afternoon after a long day at work, I arrived home to find water everywhere leaking from my hot water tank! Cole, from Wade Roberts Plumbing to the rescue! Cole immediately put my mind at rest assuring me he would be able to fix the problem. Turns out it was not my hot water tank, rather a very bad clog in my pipes! I'm quite sure had I called another company, I would have incurred the cost of a new hot water tank, because of Cole's knowledge & care, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it with less cost to me! I cannot thank Cole enough for his quality of service, his friendly manner, and eagerness to help me. Service like this is difficult to come by these days, I have since recommended Wade Roberts Plumbing to all my family & friends! Chris from Wade Roberts Plumbing recently installed our new dishwasher--really excellent service--pleasant, efficient, and very thorough. In general all of the staff we have encountered at this business are pleasant and efficient--true customer service which is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend Wade Roberts Plumbing. I've used them several times and have always received extremely good service. This time I had a toilet installed and Morgan, the plumber, explained everything in detail and was very personable, courteous, and efficient. For over five years I have worked with Wade and his crew - Matt, Morgan and others - on a range of complex and labour intensive projects at our residential property.
