he Mary Winspear Centre Foundation formally SANSCHA Community Cultural Centre Foundation (SCCCF) was created by the Sidney and North Saanich Memorial Park Society in 1996 for the purpose of raising funds to revitalize and expand SANSCHA Hall and create in its place a new facility. To this end a $6 million capital fundraising campaign Honouring the Past - Building for the Future was launched in the spring of 1999.
