    I bought a **** ****** ****** LE from ******************************* who was representing Wicked Campers. The original advertisement was for a **** ****** ****** LE, and was advertised as mechanically sound. However, after transferring the amount of $3850 in total to ********************** provided the transfer paper which states that it was a **** model not a **** model. In addition, after driving home, I noticed an unusual noise when starting the engine which sounded like starter motor failing. I contacted ***** about this issue and he acknowledged that a few things needed to be fixed and that the engine check light was cleared before the van was shown to me. However, ***** was not clear on what things needed to be fixed. I asked for his latest mechanic report as he claimed that the van was inspected by a mechanic recently. I have not received any mechanic reports from ***** after this point. After another drive a few days later, the engine check light came on, which is when I brought the van to a mechanic. Upon further inspection by the mechanic, it was found that the vehicle requires numerous repairs to be considered safe for driving and was missing a catalytic converter. Total cost of repairs would be greater than $****. The mechanic reported that the catalytic converter was replaced by a straight pipe, which has since rusted indicating that it was replaced quite a few years ago. I have contacted ***** to ask about the catalytic converter as this would have been very noticeable if the vehicle was indeed inspected. ***** denied any knowledge of the converter being missing and has not provided an adequate reply or resolution. At this point I do not see any resolution in contacting ***** personally any further as he is being dishonest.

    Campervan rented from 25th June 2022 to 5th July 2022at a cost of $1224.24. The vehicles are poorly maintained and a safety risk, we had mechanical issues a couple of hours into the drive which we were told to keep driving with. When we found an open mechanics a couple of days later they said a rear caliper had seized and they were surprised it hadn't caught on fire yet. In addition they said the rear brake pads were so worn that they were pretty much non-existent. We used up 2 days of our trip waiting for the vehicle to be repaired. The straps on our roof tent broke on day 1, which meant on several occasions the cover came loose when driving on the highway leading to a potentially very dangerous situation for other road users. We used bungee cords as a temporary solution (on the advise of Wicked Campers) but this obviously didn't work as well as the original straps. The roof tent also leaked in the rain, leading to 3 days of waking up soaked in the tent. When we dropped off the vehicle we received a refund of 1 days rental. I submitted a complaint to customer service once wand have continued to follow up every 1-2 weeks and have received no response. I believe given the scale of the issues a higher refund should be given, as well as the matter taken seriously by the company that they are supplying customers with unsafe vehicles.
