    Hired this company to do a deep clean in my apartment while I was away on a trip. They visited my unit September 21/2024 at 9am and my sister let them into my suite. I paid $372.75 by e-transfer and left a cash tip for the cleaners. This cost included an extra fee for inside of fridge and oven cleaning. When I came home (no one had been staying in my unit while I was away) it seems as though they only completed cleaning of the inside of fridge and oven and left everything else. I took a bunch of photos. The floors were sticky. Whichever surfaces they did wipe, it was not done properly. The apartment was still dirty when I came home. I reached out by text message twice and was ignored for a handful of days. So I chose to email them with photos and asking them to rectify the situation. I was ignored. I started to call but the calls were not going through. It was then I realized they blocked my phone number. I emailed them from my Gmail account with a letter asking for a full refund along with the same photos. I originally asked them to rectify the situation but after the lack of accountability and unprofessionalism I decided to ask for a full refund.

    I am a senior citizen with health issues living alone in ************. I contacted Brighter Cleaning Service for a deep clean which was done in April, 2024 and was charged on my credit card on April 18, 2024 in the amount of $395.50. I was also charged another $80.00 on April 21, 2024 on my credit without any authorization. During this time, I was in and out of the hospital for health issues. Furthermore, several items are missing from my residence (blanket, comforter, one pillow, microwave splatter cover, and a plate and bowl). I am seeking a refund of the $80.00.

    To whom it may concern,

    We have settled the complaint for ***************************** (ID # *********. We have refunded the $80.00 plus gst reschedule fee and a further amount of $200.00 + gst on the basis that the carpet was not cleaned. I hope this will rectify the situation. Also the complainant  did not mention anything being stolen from his residence. We have had several telephone conversations with ***************************** and the stolen items were never mentioned. I know that the gentleman is elderly and has been in and out of the hospital several times  due to health concerns and wish him all the best.
