On Side ****** visited our house in ********** to repair our house after a flood. The project required replacement of 700sq heated floors, two entire bathrooms to be redone and the majority of the flooring in our house to be replaced, on total the budget was > $470k.On Side failed to obtain plumbing, electrical and building permits required before commencing the works. Technical Safety BC have confirmed that much of our electrical works are defective, an independent plumber confirms that the plumbing works are unsatisfactory and in total we have 83 defects documented so far. During our project On Side ****** made us aware of another house they were working on that had a sewer backup and plumbing failure causing far more damage than the first repair, our issue is not isolated.Further investigations discovered that many issues occurred during the restoration works that we were not informed about, including 5 floods from plumbing and sewer backups.If you don't mind having a house you cant sell without disclosing the permit issues, cant properly insure and fear every time you use a bathroom or turn on a light then On Side is the company for you, if not then find an alternative.I would hope that no one has to experience the On Side ************************* in the same manor as we have.Review from king l

I will not recommend this company to my friends in the future. When receiving the invoice, I found that the labour hours were much over charged without details of works. Even though I had mark down their labour hours and talked to them. I was told that some working hours belongs to many hidden jobs which the client didn't know. Very funny, client do not know how they charge you before the job starts. Next time, better ask everything about work hours, equipments etc....Review from LINDA G
