The dealer sold me an expensive tire and rim policy (from ****** ********) for $ 750 and claims that I did not report the damage according to their terms and conditions, within 30 days. Quite aside from my expectation that the window on such an expensive policy does not close so fast, they never told us when buying the car about the 30 period. No warning or heads up. When I actually needed it, about 4 1/2 years after purchase and I recounted our experience to their parts and service area, nobody alterted me to the fact that I only had 30 days to report. Besides I first had to try and recover the amounts from the **** ** ********* as I and a number of other cars were subjected to the same pothole that very same night, So I can prove that I reported to the **** ** ********* and I can prove that I called the parts and service area the very next day. I indicated that I had a policy and needed an estimate for a rim that was covered by the Mitsubishi plan, and unfortunately given no indication that I had to report to the ****** ******** separately and within 30 days. This was on day 2 so I would have had plenty of time to do so. By the way, I bought the policy from Mitsubishi so I assumed that they would give some level of service and I was not aware that they were selling a policy from what seems to be a "fly by night" operation. I have been in to see them twice and am not receiving a response or some news that my policy will be honored. They are great at selling but other than that, not worth going back to for my 5 year replacement vehicle.

Mitsubishi canada does not honor their warranty have a 2016 rvr with 130k transmission failed Dec 3 2023, should be covered under 10 year 160k power tran warranty but its been 5 weeks still at ****** mitsubishi, the case was closed by a mitsubishi rep that had an ego problem but a day later reopen after being rude to the dealer, now they are testing fluid to try and find a way to void the warranty , it has cost us 500$ in loan & insurance plus 1200$ in rent a car if required, this is an embarrassment for mitsubishi canada.
