I rarely have a pleasant experience with contractors. Orca Masonry is by far the exception to this rule. From start to finish the work was seamless, prompt, pleasant and efficient. All personnel, including subcontractors, were very conscientious. A small adjustment to the job which had nothing to do with the original work was addressed immediately and without hesitation. I cannot say enough about how accommodating this company is.Review from Laura M

We chose Orca Masonry for new front steps into our home. Cory was able to help us pick just the right stone. Trent and Rudolpho were amazing and they put together the stone steps. Even during the early snow both men showed up were extremely hardworking and courteous. I think the crew of Orca Masonry went above and beyond to help us get these new stone steps installed. We highly recommend Orca Masonry, they are worth every penny. Thank you to the amazing crew of Orca Masonry.Review from Christian G

We chose Orca Masonry for a hot tub pad. Cory (the owner) was very responsive via email and was able to find a window for the job very quickly. The work was done on-time, on-budget, and with a high level of quality (which is not so common these days...). The three team members were extremely professional, hardworking, and courteous. We had the privilege of having the Orca crew completing for us a repointing and chimney rebuild as well as a new face to our fireplace. From set-up to take-down (clean-up) and all the work and artistry in-between I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, skill and expertise of Orca Masonry. The consultation manager was very knowledgeable, listened and provided sound, expert advice and suggestions. The masonry crew were exceptional and so respectful while working around and within our home. Communication within the crew and with us was exceptional. At the beginning and end of each day they consulted with us about what was completed, and was to be completed the following day. At the end of each day the work area was cleaned up and the final clean up left nothing for us to do beyond sitting down and admiring their exceptional work. All-in-all our experience with Orca Masonry went beyond our expectations.Review from Anita L

We are very happy that we chose Orca Masonry to do our drain work & new paving stones. Our back yard flooded every winter & we knew we had to get it fixed sooner or later. A neighbour was having work done by Orca so we got an estimate & got our work done too. All the employees are hardworking, knowledgeable & friendly. We could ask any questions or make suggestions & they were so obliging. A new paving stone sidewalk out front & a parking area in the back are perfect. Thank you Orca for all your hard work!

I recently had Orca Masonry create a stamped concrete patio and interlocking brick walkway and I am VERY happy with the result. The crew members were knowledgeable and very helpful in making design and style decisions. The work was done on schedule and worksite kept clean. The crew ensured that the rest of the yard was hardly impacted by always laying down plywood sheets so that they could move the excavator, heavy equipment and gravel etc over the existing lawn. I'm so happy to have this lovely, low maintenance extension to my living space and know I have added great value to my home. I highly recommend Orca Masonry!Orca Masonry Ltd. Response

I cannot praise Cory and his crew enough for their professionalism, kindness and attention to detail. My husband was due to be released from hospital with either a wheelchair or walker but could not come home until our gravel driveway and paths were hardscaped. (cannot push a wheelchair or walker on gravel!) Wait times were over 2 months however Cory compassionately re arranged their schedule so work could commence pretty much immediately so that my husband could come home. Cory gave me excellent advice on suitable products and his team worked closely with me to ensure steps were replaced with slopes suitable for a wheelchair. The blue stone paths and exposed aggregate driveway have truly enhanced our property..Our neighbours now refer to us as "the house with the fancy paths" :=) I have no hesitation recommending Cory and Orca MasonryOrca Masonry Ltd. Thank you for your kind words. Your project was definitely a challenge! Working with the various Heritage Societies and their experts is not easy given the inconsistencies and occasionally subjective application of policy. Discussions with the City, Heritage Committee and the Heritage Society took our combined efforts to work through. However, your chimney turned out beautiful and compliments the home while adhering to today’s building code. Well worth the effort!
