    Mid of May of this year I went to Harmony Tailors to get one dress and one skirt shortened. I was initially quoted $60. 2 weeks later when I went to pick up my clothes, the owner went back on her words and charged $80.85 (after tax) on my credit card instead of $60. Both my skirt and dress are ruined, skirt is cut asymmetrical one side shorter than the other side, and my second pleated dress the pleats were gone when I went to pick up and entire dress was cut askewed, asymmetrical, wavy. After communicating with the owner about fixing these issues she caused, she told me a few days later that she would not fix these issues, as it takes too much of her time and she’s not making money this way. She then went on denying then blaming on my dresses quality then making up stories that my skirt was asymmetrical to start with then changed her story again that I was wearing it the wrong way. *** ***** ******* ** ** ******** ********* ** ****** ** *** * **** ************* ** * ***** * ******** ******* *** ***** **** ****** ** *** ** ***** ******** ** ******** ******* ** *********** ****** ***** ******** ** ***** *** ***** *** ***** *********  In summary, owner took a total of $80 from my credit card, destroyed my property, refused to refund or to fix her errors, ********* ****** ** *** ******** ******* ** *** ***** *** ** **** ****** *** ******** ********

    By shortening the customer's skirt, we preserved the cloth cut and checked to see if there was any error in the job, they were exactly the same length. The customer insisted on wearing the elastic and zipper located at the back of the skirt on the left side, saying that the hem of the skirt, after we changed it, was not the same length. We also wish that the cloth on the buttocks has no influence on her choice. We also took the modified skirt to the brand stores of two skirts to confirm whether there was any cutting error, *** *** ****** *** ****** ******** ****** **** ***** *** ** ******* **** *** ************* ***** ********* *********** ***** **** ** *** ***** ** ******* We've been in business for more than 20 years as a tailor shop, and our employees have an average tenure of more than 10 years. * ***** ******** ******** ****** **** *** ********* ***** *** ****** ******** *** ******* **** **** *** ******** ***** ***** *********** ***** ** ********** *********** ********* *** ****** **** ** *** ******** *** ***********

    We initially only offered a $35 price based on the customer-supplied photographs because we had no idea how wide the skirt was ** ********** ** *** ********* ** ********). In the end, we charged all of our customers the same price, which came to $70 plus GST (the client also attested to this pricing in Google's negative reviews). In fact, after seeing the skirt, we informed our customers that it would be impossible to alter the pleated skirt and that we could not adhere to the original quotation for such a large skirt. We had already made the biggest compromise at the time because the customer had always maintained that we could not adjust the quotation at anytime. The skirt  and dress are two-layer and more than six meters long, and 2mm skirt edge hemming. Is it unreasonable to pay $35 for tailor work? ****** ***** *** ****** ****** A simple pant hem is $15-$18. Such pleated skirts and lined skirts are ten times the working time and difficulty.
