    3x Pairs of uniform pants were dropped off and paid for on September 26, 2022 for alterations. I picked up one pair a few days later and told them the last two pairs didn't have to be ready as quickly. I had to visit the establishment multiple times to inquire about the last two pairs. Finally after weeks, they we're ready. After bringing them home and trying them on I found they had been ruined by the job provided by the seamstress from S.A Stitch Palace. They are all puckered at the bottom and can't be worn. I took them back a few days later and asked her to fix them and call me when they we're ready. I never received a call. I have followed up multiple times. Via phone and in person. They never answer the phone and the store is closed(during regular posted business hours) almost every time I stop by in person. Finally she was there when I stopped by on April 24th. She told me my pants we're with her colleague. I told her I wanted my pants and my money back by the next day. Same thing, they have been closed and don't answer their phone from April 25th-27th. It has been 7 months. I need my company issued uniform pants back so I can take them elsewhere to be fixed.     At the beginning of August 2022 I returned to this shop to have alterations completed on several garments. The staff member was new and the individuals that served me in 2017 were not there. I paid in full including a tip prior to alterations being made (there was no option to do a deposit and receive the finished products later). The customer service I received was incredibly poor. Not only were the items delayed by over a month, the individual kept putting me off when I tried to pick up my clothes over the duration of a month after they were long past due. They said they had opened all the seams and were nearly done. They made promises to have my work done by certain dates and didn't follow through. One day I tried picking up my items on a Saturday when the shop was supposed to be open and they weren't there - when I called they said they were running 1.5 hours late. They **** when I picked up half my items saying the rest will be done in a day, and that the items I picked up had already been ironed (they weren't). I went to the shop and said I want to pick up what is remaining and get a refund for those items. They said they were almost done and that they had just opened up the seams and needed one day to finish (putting me off again). I was firm and said I am picking up the items now and getting a refund. They still kept trying to convince me to let them finish the items and would not take my no for an answer. When I finally received the items that weren't finished and the refund, the stitches were not opened like they said they were. The quality of the items was very very poor. Stitches fell out immediately after trying them on. The stitching was loose and puckered. Garments ruined. I want a full refund.

    On July 23/22 I took 2 pairs of pants I needed for a wedding and part of a uniform to SA Stitch Place. I have taken numerous items for alteration there over the years and never been dissatisfied. The Couple who own it are or were fabulous. The new person who I remarked as never having been seen said she was looking after things. She said she worked there for years *** *** **** ********  I tried on my pants she set the hem line-I changed. Came to the desk and paid $47.52 by Interac which included a tip (service $18/pant plus tip and taxes) since they had always been amazing on turn around. The Lady advised my pants would be ready on July 27/22. I got a ripped up piece of paper with my name on it. Went back July 27/22-told come back tomorrow. July 28/22 told come back Saturday. Went back July 31/22 at 10:10 am-not open when they were supposed to be. Called -no answer Emailed no response. August 2/22 pants not ready. August 3/22 I was told they were stuck on the serger sew machine and the lady was calling the owner for help. August 11/22 I finally got a hold of someone and my pants are now at another shop to get altered and would be back on Monday August 15 by noon. I left work and drove from downtown to the shop to pick up my pants an they are closed. The pants cost $60/per pair (2), plus tax and shipping, alterations $47.52 my time and gas and missed wedding and event that the black pants are the uniform for can't be undone. I want my pants back and my money back. While I would like to be recognized for the chasing gas and time-I doubt I would get that. I cannot even return the pants now-I am out of pocket. * *** **** ** *** ***** **** * ******* * *** *** ****
