Purchased gift cards a couple days before the business closed down They knew they were closing and still took my money. The name of business still remains at other locations but won’t honour my gift cards. They claim to say they are under different manager. However the same managers are working at the other locations that are opened. ***** ***

June 3rd, 2022 My daughter went to Aloha Nails by TN at the 7-2136 Mcphillips Street Location. I gave her $100.00 for her to get her nails done. I had told her to ask for the price they were going to charge her upfront before they started working on her nails. As there has been issues in the past with Aloha Nails by TN staff in the past not giving the proper price for their services with other family members until after they've completed their nails they come up with random prices that are not included on their pricing boards. Anyway My daughter started getting her nails worked on and she had continuously asked how much her nails were going to be because she only had $100.00 no one responds to her she asks her cousin Dakotah who is with her to ask the manager how much they are going to be charging her for her nails. No one gives them any answer, now she's finished and the manager lady tells her it's $185.00 for her nails. And Autumn knew she only had the $100.00 so she messaged me and said they're charging me $185.00 I asked well what did you get did youbget designs, her answer No I got acrylic nails they kept the nail size that they placed on her and gave her white tips and 1 color of nail polish. When I went into the store I asked the managers how are you charging her a $185.00 when your prices are posted for $70.00. All was explained was the length, it was because of the length. I asked why didn't any of your employees explain the pricing to her up front they lied and said they did but both girls said no one told them any pricing until they were finished. I gave $100.00 cash to the manager and was pulling out more cash then the manager begins to enter an amount on their debit machine and not only charging me the other $85.00 amount but another $10.00 for using their debit machine. ************************************************* I refused to pay and walked out. But my conscience got the better of me so I sent my partner in to pay and never received a receipt

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/07/06) */ Please note that we are very professional and always tell our customers the price prior to servicing. Regarding the service provided to the daughter, we clearly communicated the price roughly under $200 because of the length of the nails and quality of the product she chose and she agreed to pay the price. However, her mom came to our salon after the service was provided and disagreed with the price was provided and she made a scene at the salon which was very destructive to our business and clients at present. She did pay $100 and left the salon. Shortly, she sent someone to pay the remaining bill of $85 for the full service. To be honest, we did not charge the wrong price and it was communicated clearly prior to servicing. Unfortunately, we will not refund the 50% as requested. However, we offer a gift card of $40. Thank you, Aloha Nails by TN Management
