I paid Joshua ******* $*** to take my Sister’s graduation photos on the October 17th 2022. A deposit of $*** was made to secure the photography appointment. The total package was supposed to be $**** The $*** was supposed to include 3 locations: at home, at school and for the after party on graduation day October 19th 2022. We were running a little for the home pictures, so we asked Josh to go the second location. He did but he never came to the 3rd location. Which means he took photos in one location and those photos didn’t come out right. My sister and I tried reaching out to him, he said he had too much commitments that day that is why he was not able to go meet up with the agreed expectations. ** ******* ** *** we haven’t heard from him. We want our money back, since we can’t get the memories we lost that day because of him.

On October 17th I accepted a graduation shoot for a client. She paid me $*** as a deposit and asked me to take photos of her at 3 different locations. The first location was said to be her home, the second location was **** and the third was at a party with the address yet to be disclosed. We agreed to have the shoot at 3:30 pm on October 19th. My asking price for photoshoots is $*** at a single location with a couple of outfit changes if necessary.

On the day of the shoot, I messaged my client at 3:07 pm and told her I was on my way. I arrived a few minutes to 3:30 pm at the first location to my client being absent. She messaged me at 3:30 pm informing me she wasn’t ready yet, she was still getting her hair and makeup done. Her family members were not ready either and everyone seemed shocked to see me. It seemed like she was the only person aware of the time for the shoot yet she wanted photos with her family. I waited for a bit before I called her and told her I had to leave because I had other clients' photos at the **** to take. She asked if I could come back at 5:30 pm, and I agreed. I headed straight to school but ended up missing my other clients because of the time I spent waiting for her. At 5 pm she called and told me not to bother coming back to the first location, and that she’ll meet me at the second location, *****

After the graduation ceremony which was proposed to end around 9 pm, I took her pictures for about an hour and left around 10 pm. Once we were done with the pictures there was no communication on the address for the third location which was a party so I went home. I woke up to a missed call around midnight, which was very late, 2 hours later to be precise.

Saying the pictures didn’t come out right is false because I didn’t receive any complaints concerning the pictures. I’m only hearing about this particular issue through this complaint. The only thing mentioned concerning the pictures was her request for the raw version of a particular photo because she wanted to edit her eyes herself.

I did not ghost them because we were in communication days after the shoot, with her (Graduant) requesting to take more photos. I said to her the only way that would work is if she paid me the remaining $***. She informed me her sister has only $*** to pay, I refused because my price is $*** but as a kind gesture, I told her she can pay a minimum of $****

    ******** *** *********** ** ** ************ **** ****

This is not fair, because she wasted my time and made me miss a client and now she’s requesting for $***? *** **** ** ****

    Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:

I have read Joshua’s response and there are some discrepancies. He mentioned that he got to my place and waited, that was false. He did get to my place but He never waited because as soon as he got there, we updated him and he left. We were ready to forfeit the first location. So he mentioned that’s fine, he said he was overbooked same day as he had other clients same time. For context, many * ** * students were graduating that same day, so we were okay with that. He should just admit that he had too many client same time. He got to the second location very late which was the school where my sister would be receiving her diploma and he never captured that moment.

According to my receipts he said super last minute that he would not be able to make it for that moment as he was taking other clients’ photographs. He also didn’t capture when my sister was walking on the aisle to receive her diploma. That was one of the most important aspect of the graduation but he was busy with other clients. After the graduation session, we went to the common area at the school to take the family photos and we noticed he was taking our photos alongside other students with their families in the same school common area. He was running between clients. After that, he never made it to the third location, maybe he was exhausted from running back and forth between clients. Also, the photos he took can’t even be used cause they were not clear and were poorly edited. It was very different from previous work we have seen on his page. * **** ***** ** *********** ****** *** ** **** ** *******

Overall, we had our photos taken in one location only when we had requested for three. I am open to negotiating with the business ** * **** ************ *** *****

    Sincerely,

    Eseosa *********
