    We purchased panels for our new suite from Daryl at Spectrum in 2021. Two smaller units for the bedrooms and 3 larger units for the main area. They arrived in July .The electricians that were to install the panels had some concerns about the certification of the 4 panels in the bedrooms but we were assured by Daryl that they were ok so the electrician spoke with Daryl we installed the panels. Thus far the problems had been resolved. We finished the suite and had renters in when the 1st 2 panels in the main bedroom failed (Nov 30,2022) going into winter. We were told that they had to come from France so there wouldn't be delivered until the new year 2023. These were shipped and dropped of at a pickup place with no option to return the damaged package. One panel was able to be fixed but the other was damaged such that the electrician would not install. Photos were sent & Daryl claimed that he would file a claim with ******** the shipping company. He indicated that he would not be able to replace the panel until he finished the claim ( "You have to wait to get a replacement. They take between 3 to 6 months to credit me, IF they credit me.I have to buy the replacements immediately to resend to you." )As we were going through this process, the 2nd 2 bedroom panels failed. All failed and 1 damaged panels were sent to Daryl at our expense. This was March 2023. We received replacements for the 2nd failure in April 2023. I asked about the remaing panel late April no response. Tried again in Sept. & finally received a reply ("... I’m having some serious financial issues “as we speak”, whereby I just don’t have the money to purchase a replacement panel for you and ship it, until I’m reimbursed by the company.., because normally I’d just buy another panel and replace it and wait for the reimbursement... So, in short, you WILL get the panel, but I don’t have any control over how soon, or at least until my situation changes." I sent a followup email 2 weeks ago no response.

    Darryl ******* designed an infrared panel system for our house costing over $**** jn April 2023, encouraged payment through etransfer, then gave every excuse about the delay of of our order. First, the manufacturer was shut for summer, then he had server issues, then they were stuck after Chicago border, then he told us that he owed money to the border agency. Promised us a full refund by Sept 7, 2023. Now, he won't return calls, texts or emails.     In late January 2023, I ordered a 24" by 48" white infrared heating panel from Darryl H******, the owner of a Winnipeg-based business called Spectrum Infrared, which also goes by the URL of InfraredHeat.ca. The order also included a Mysa Smart Thermostat v. 2.0 to control the heating panel. The total cost of the order was $********* which I paid promptly by e-transfer after receiving invoice ****** from Darryl. The invoice was dated Jan. 26, 2023. After quite some delay and repeated emails, Darryl finally shipped the heating panel in April 2023. I opened the box and discovered that the thermostat was not included. In email communications, Darryl informed me that the thermostat was backordered and would be arriving within a few weeks. When it still did not arrive, Darryl assured me he was expecting it the following week. The thermostat still did not arrive and I eventually asked Darryl for a refund. He told me he would refund the purchase price ($*** + HST + shipping) via e-transfer. Again, after several requests, the refund was not paid and Darryl has not returned my emails. As of June, I have informed Darryl that I will be submitting a complaint with the BBB.     I ordered a heat panel from Darryl on October 12 2022. Payed in full. Have not received this unit as of today June 13 2023. I have corresponded with him about 6 or 7 times over over this time. Each time he would say next week or I’ll check into it. Still nothing. Last few weeks his phone mail box is full and no response with email. If not the heater I would like a refund.     I ordered and paid about $****** for some panels from Darryl at Spectrum Infrared almost a year ago. For a variety of reasons including supply chain issues the delivery has taken much longer than expected. Darryl has been very responsive and apologetic the whole time. I understand he had finally received the panels and was about to ship them out when he ended up in the hospital. He responded to me in March shortly after he got out, but since then he will no longer respond to emails or answer the phone and I fear the worst. *** *** **** ** **** ** *** ****

    We placed an order for 13 infrared heaters with Darryl H****** at Spectrum Infrared (Infraredheat.ca) on March 24, 2023. The $****** invoice was paid via e-transfers; with the final payment being made on April 4, 2023. Delivery was estimated to be 6-8 weeks.     We paid over $*K to Darryl H****** and his company Spectrum Infrared months ago and have not received the goods. He has also stopped communications with us and several others who have reached out with similar issues. We initially contacted Darryl H****** on January 4, 2023 at Spectrum Infrared to inquire about purchasing infrared heating panels for our renovation. We had several phone calls and email exchanges where we gave details of our space and discussed options. Once deciding on the specific heat panels he sent an invoice and we sent an e-transfer for just over *K on February 6, 2023 (we had been given the option of payment by **** but declined it due to the added 3% cost). After receiving the e-transfer he sent us the invoice marked 'paid' and wrote that it would take 4-8 weeks to ship. I followed up several times and he said he was looking into it. We last heard from him on April 19, 2023. where he wrote 'I don't have an update as yet, but wanted to let you know I'm here! I'll let you know what I can find out as soon as I can.' he also mentioned that he had been sick. We followed up several times by email, text, calling (his business answering service is full but we left messages on his cell answering service). Up until April 19th he was fairly quick to respond. We then started to look online (reddit, facebook, BBB) and found that we aren't the only ones who have been having problems over the last five months or so. I then called *********, a company he claims to be the Canadian distributor for. They confirmed that they also had problems with him, ** **** **** ***** and they have ended their business relationship. We **** *** * ********* ********** ** * ****** ** ************ ******* ** ******* ****** ** ******* *** *** **** ***** him 15 days to repay amount due) *** have not received a refund, not received the goods and heard nothing from Darryl or Spectrum Infrared. We hope to resolve this issue in short order before resorting to further legal action.

    In February of 2023 we, my contractor and I the house owner, contacted Spectrum Infrared and decided to do business, buying ceiling panels at the cost of $**** + in 3 instalments all within 3 days. The last of the money was sent March 2. Our contractor sent an email on March 9 asking how things were going with the panels. No response. I sent an email in May no response and I have called three times, once using the 800 number and with no response and a personal mobile number of Darryl’s twice wth no response . * *** ********** **** * *** **** ** ********* ** *** ******** ********* *** ****** *** ***** *** *** **** ** ** **** ******* *** **** ********  * **** *** **** **** ***** *** ******* ********** **** *** **** * ** ****** ***** We would dearly love to have our panels but if not, a refund would be in order. We have the e-transfered money documented with the bank. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
