            November 21st 2024 ******* towing had a auction through associated Auto auction website. I purchased a 2003 BMW 330i (lot 43). The car was paid in full and picked up on November 22nd 2024. My brother had bidded and won a 2004 lexus ls430 lot 38 under his own account. I had nothing to do with that transaction or his bidding. On November 25th I got a email from Janelle at associated Auto auction where she was using bully tactics threatening me to put a lien on the car that I bought and paid fully, with threats to repo the car I bought and also send my account to collections even though I had zero outstanding bill. They said they contacted mpi and already sent them the lien. I panicked because I've never been sent to collections nor had a problem with mpi so I ended up paying for it. They told me because we bought off the same ip address that I'm on the hook and have to be a victim in order for them to get paid from my brother Elvis. I thought about it after I paid them and I didn't think it was right or legal to do that, I called Janelle back today and had asked just to explain respectfully how it was legal to do this, bringing up if my room mate bought a car and didn't pay for it, just because we are under the same roof doesn't mean I should be on the hook for the bill. She kept just telling me she many ways to go after me and it is legal but couldn't tell me how, she just told me for me to look it up. I'm out of this money and she didn't even put the paid invoice under my name. I felt like I was bullied into this and just need some kinda of answers on how this is possibly legal.

            Melis did pay for this vehicle and sent an e-Transfer willingly.  Not once did he ask to have the bill of sale put into his name. That can easily done if requested
