On 27 October I purchased a 2016 Mazda CX 5 for $24,728.26 with tax from Atlantic Mazda and from about the second day that I had the car, the car started making a squealing noise. I told the sales guy about it He got back to me and told me it was the brakes because they were new brakes. at the time of purchase I also paid to get ***** CarPlay module installed so I took the car to the mechanic to get installed and get them to check the brake squeal come to find out, the front passenger side rotor needs to be resurfaced. It needs front brakes because they’re deteriorating. I have video of the mechanic showing me what he’s talking about. I also sent it to them and the rear passenger calliper and motor for the emergency brake has gone bad so that had to be replaced , I got a quote of 1400 and some and I told Atlantic Mazda about it eventually after some time I actually call the used sales manager **** and he said he was going to contact steele mazda that’s my local dealership that I deal with to talk to them anyway they ended up paying for the emergency brake motor and the calliper but not the brakes or the rotor and after they installed the calliper and emergency brake motor they found that the rear shock mounts has gone bad now I haven’t contacted Atlantic Mazda about this, but makes me wonder what else is wrong with the car My 30 days is now up, but I told them well in advance you will see from the text messages I sent you. this is the link for the video from the mechanic at Steele Mazda

    Hi,

I have attched the michael baker bill that we paid for at his local dealership.

The video shows the brakes are the unit was measured at 7mm on both front and back ones, passes the NS laws of 2mm. (new rotors were installed as you can see from the bill)

The local dealership is looking to upgrade to mazda brakes which it does not need.

We have fixed the other issues with his mazda except New mazda brakes as it does not need them.

As we are we know the issue is now resolved.
