The Investigation was prompted by several phone inquiries, three negative customer reviews, and 18 formal complaints against Seaformatics Systems Inc. Seaformatics Systems Inc is reported by consumers who order and pay for a WaterLily Water Turbine on their website, that it is never received. They are told they are currently sold out of the product, but no refund is issued and no further follow-up is provided.

• Spelling errors, complicated navigation or broken images or links
• Pop-ups, questionable advertising
• Requests for personal data information like social security numbers or irrelevant financial details
• Unusual payment methods like wire transfers, cryptocurrency or gift cards
