I had my van into super Dave’s to have 4 tires installed and an alignment done the morning of Thursday January 16. Everything seemed to be fine and I paid. Monday January 20 I was driving to work on the 102 highway when my car started to shake so bad I started to pull over to the side of the road. My father met me and wanted to check it out. We moved it 4 or 5 feet and the front driver side tire came off due to every lug post being snapped off. I sent a picture to the manager of super Dave’s who instantly started to put the blame eles where. When I called he told me he didn’t really even care that much and then proceeded to explain different ways he could get out of it. I had the van towed to their shop. Upon my arrival they already had it on the hoist and were removing parts. They then told me the four of the five lug posts were already broken and could tell by the rust. When I asked how they were able to torque my wheel back on without noticing they just walked away. My van is absolutely destroyed and they let me drive away in an unsafe vehicle.

Customers lug nuts let go on vehicle. On our invoice it states in bold letters "must re-torque wheels after 100kms" Customer drove around 600kms. This is an unfortunate reality in the car business that lug nuts loosen sometimes after wheels are removed and put back on vehicle, this is why most if not all shops indicate this in writing. Despite warning on invoice, we investigated incident and quickly offered to repair damage. Customer accepted this solution.
