    I have been a client of Eyes on Portland for over 15 years. I ordered a pair of computer glasses and when I received them could not see the computer properly. I called the office on Monday, May 27th and was told they were not computer glasses but reading glasses so I stopped in on my way home from work to look into this. The person I spoke with was confused as to why reading glasses were ordered as the last 5 or 6 glasses purchased were office/computer glasses. She was also confused by the fact that I was sold blue filter if they were supposed to be reading glasses. She said she would speak to her manager on Tuesday and have her get back to me once she investigated. I called today – Thursday – and was told the manger had left for the day and had gone on vacation. I asked if I could speak with someone else to take care of this and was given to the other person working today – not a manager or anyone who could help or answer any questions. He took my information and said I would be called back when a decision was made. When I asked when that would be he said he couldn’t give me a timeline and told me that people can’t work 7 days a week. I received an email yesterday saying they would not replace the glasses as that is what I ordered and the person who took the order had tried to talk me out of ordering reading glasses but I insisted. This is false I knew I needed computer glasses for computer work.

    On 13 Sep 2023, & upon vetting 3 eye glasses companies, I placed an order with Eyes on Portland for 2 pairs of prescription eye ware. I was informed that, although the receipt indicated 2 - 4 weeks, I might not receive them for up to 8 weeks, although this was an unlikely wait. After 12 weeks, I began calling and emailing hoping to complete the transaction. I received one of 2 pairs on 21 Dec, & was told that the 2nd pair should be in "next week". It is now 8 Jan & I am approaching 17 weeks. I've paid over $1000 & would have preferred to cancel the transaction but was informed that that was not an option. I was informed that the delay in production was due to the population boom in Halifax. I find this to be somewhat audacious. Regardless, I am hoping I can get some resolution as I will soon be 6 months after the purchase, & closing in on looking at a new prescription. Any assistance is greatly appreciated in advance - thank you.

    I Purchased three pairs of glasses on August 31 not thinking to ask how long it would take it on the bottom of the receipt It says 2 to 4 weeks. So I waited five weeks and I called them. They told me that they were behind and it would take eight weeks so yesterday was eight weeks I went into them asking where my glasses were and they told me they were still behind eight weeks so I argued with him about it and I told him I wanted my money back and they said there was no refund. I said that’s if you get your glasses but I did not receive the product. I told him I would be getting my money back One way or another. They also told me it could take six months possibly so I posted an ad on ******** asking if anybody else has had an issue with this company and yes, many people have some are still waiting for their glasses 24 weeks later, and have gone in there and asked about the glasses and been banned from the place and not allowed to talk to them that’s what they say so I’m writing to you to see what is possible that can be done with this business it’s not right. Any other eye place takes one to two weeks to get your glasses. I did not expect this or I would not have bought my glasses there. Thanks
