    November 29, 2022 I ordered and paid $299. For prescription eye glasses from Wonder Vision in New Minas Nova Scotia. I waited for a phone call for pick up. After 3 weeks, I called and left a message on his telephone answering service. No call back. On around December 28, I went to the office and there was a notice, “closed for the holidays”. I went to the office today, January 10, 2023 and the office is empty. I was told that Wonder Vision has been evicted for not paying rent.

    I don’t have a receipt or bill of sale from the business, just a record of the transaction on my **** statement.

    It appears that the business has closed, I was told that they’ve been evicted from their office space.

    I had an eye appointment on February 10, 2022 in Wolfville NS 1st appointment with Wonder Vision New Minus February 15th at 12:00 March 25th picked up glasses and remarked "they don't seem right" I was told to try them for a month and if they still are suitable they will fix them. April 22nd appointment was made to "fix" glasses and they cancelled appointment May 2nd rebooked appointment and they took my glasses to be fixed. I called leaving 2 messages wondering where my glasses were June 3 received a call back asking me to be patient for couple more weeks June 17th I called left a message Where are my glasses June 20th got a call to say my glasses will be in that Friday 24th Received another call on June 20th telling me they are still looking for a "part" that there was "an unusual element in my prescription," they were trying to secure a lab that has it. July 7th I called and demanded the ** stop and want my money back! Heard back middle of July to tell me that accounts payable will send a cheque at the end of the month and in the meantime they have had a conversation with **** ***** waiting for direction from them since I used the glasses benefit. July 18th called ********* to see what was on my file regarding my benefit and reimbursement to the company. They confirmed it was sorted July 20th. August 7th I left a message asking where was my money and I didn't want ANY more **.
