  I needed a custom shower glass unit completed last June. Speedy said they could do it and took $5700 up front. It took two weeks to do measurements and then 12 weeks before install. They arrived on sept 28/2022 to install but had no idea that they only needed to keep their measurements and use tap com screws to penetrate and hold the glass. They were adamant. But they are wrong as I had carpenters here working at the time plus my tile person said the tiles will hold regardless of stud usage. They proceeded to put the glass in on the studs, which resulted in a cockeyed set up and told me they needed to reorder goad to fit. I have not heard anything from them since September 28th. I have to lay towels down to shower as there set up had the door ajar and the glass walls are off centre. It’s been a year since I gave my money to them and I’m savage at their no response and their cavalier attitude that this is the way it goes. They should just stick to auto glass if they don’t know what they are doing with regards to shower set up. I want my full money back and I want the glass that is installed reset to the original centre measurements. I’m at my wits end with this organization

  **** ******** Did order a custom shower from Speedy glass, We have been doing custom Showers for the last 30 Years , The process goes like this the customer prepaids the shower we order and it takes about 12 weeks to come in . When we received the shower it came in wrong size unfortunately !!! **** said he was showering at his father house so we installed anyway so he could shower until new one arrived . We ordered new one and when that one arrived on truck it was broke !!!! We ordered new again it arrived fine ! We want to install new one but **** ******** is not answer his phone ! We have left numerous messages !! This Customer is not getting his money back!! we have his Shower awaiting installation and we will fix this problem!!!

   I am rejecting this response because:
  
  I have been out at sea and no service and I was advised to record conversations if the business was in contact so it had not occurred.
  And I waited 9 months for a response.
  
  
  And I know your 12 week order time…but 9 months is 36 weeks
  
  
  And now I hear glass is ready coincidentally when a BBB complaint arrives.
  
  
  And I did not ever get contacted about this broken glass story.
  
  
  and if you have glass … what is it?
  is it center curb? Perfect middle of the curb? Regardless of stud?
  Because in September your experts did not even know what they were drilling into and asked me what type of porcelain it was when it is obviously slate (pure rock and cemented to wall) and then when carpenters on site told them to get Tapcom screws (used to drill into concrete) they proceeded to go and get them but still drill to the inner curb so they could find a stud. Unreal.
  
  
  I have been putting towels down to shower since September 28 2022.
  
  
  I paid close to $6k to these experts.
  
  
  I’ve had people check it and they are flabbergasted. 
  
  
  I have seen other people reno and custom build a shower in 3 months fully installed to speck.
  Not thru speedy obviously.. sadly they use out of province.

  Towels and a banging half ajar shower door with foam on the handle and a cross bar for 9 months showering is absolutely unacceptable and absurd
