    False advertising on website. Web page says $85 but price is $120. Maybe owner should fix that, since another complaint was filed in 2022. Owner found out that shuttle was not first choice, and took it personally. Verbally abusive. The owner of this company is very rude.

    It does need updating since Covid however we have been unable to update it due to not being able to access it to change it. We have attempted to get a cure for that several times through ************ *** which have closed their operation here.. 

    We operate a shuttle from Yarmouth to and from Halifax and the Airport. $85 never was the cost to the airport which is some 70 Km return beyond Halifax City.

    ***** ****** is the mother not the passenger. Mrs ****** made the reservation for her son on the phone to travel to Halifax Airport not Halifax City. Had she enquired using the website it would have sent us an email to which we would email back to get all the needed info and it always includes the current cost to the Airport. At the time of booking, to ensure no confusion, all customers either calling or using the website are informed of the cost per person based where they want to travel, told verbally or on the return email.

    Notwithstanding what Mrs ****** wrote in the review, she was fully aware of the current cost from Yarmouth to Halifax Airport prior to booking and was perfectly fine with that and proceeded to book. The pricing is not the issue as she states. 

    She says "Owner found out that shuttle was not first choice and took it personally". By that I suggest she means after booking a shuttle it was brought to my attention that there was a ** post attempting to solicit a ride to the Airport from any member of the public less than 10 hours before pickup of her son the next morning. I called her son and asked about it and it quickly became evident that if he could get a public person to drive him to the Airport he would not be on the shuttle the next morning that was booked. 

    We have only 6 seats and when we are full we have no choice but to turn down any other people wanting or needing to get to Halifax or the Airport. With such a high risk of ending up with an empty seat and leaving another with no seat as well as lost revenue travelling with an empty seat I told the passenger that I will LIKELY need to cancel the reservation and take another passenger that will actually show up. 

    He then called his mother and Mrs ****** then called me. I explained the situation and reasoning telling her that if she had told me she was trying to get another public ride for her son I would not have taken the booking. After some discussion she basically stated she didn't see a problem with booking like that and didn't care if I got stuck with an empty seat or someone else got a ride or not and it is not a big deal.In that conversation there was no further discussion on price, which is the stated basis for her review.

    The conversation ended with me telling her if she wanted to pay the previously quoted price with a CC over the phone at that time it would all work out. She readily agreed and paid. Her son was delivered to the Airport the next morning as originally booked. 

    It seems me telling her that her booking a shuttle with no intentions of using it or paying for it unless everything else fails is unacceptable to this company and me asking for pre-payment to assure a seat could be considered by her to be taking it personally, verbally abusive and rude. 

    I certainly was not happy with her intentional, admitted manipulation as well as her couldn't care less attitude. I was being direct and factual.
