Very disappointed. Ordered soft armor plates from S&J and received my order yesterday. The level III soft plates are so thin I thought they only sent me 1 plate. Not sure if I trust them to save my life. Also, the expiration date says manufactured 7/01/2020 with a warranty of 5 years. The date I received my plates was on 12/16/2023 which means my warranty will only last for another 17 months. When I emailed the company, someone by the name of ***** replied right away, (have to give him kudos for that). But his reply was "The plates in my inventory are all the same date code. That is why they were deeply discounted." No where does it state this unless you look at one of the pictures showing the back of the plate. And if you zoom in on it you can see the expiration date on the plate. I guess you get what you paid for right? Unfortunately they lost a customer.

I put in an order last Sunday night, where I was surprised at the quick response at around 2:30am, which I thought was great. ***** (the owner) helped me make the order through messenger, since the website was having some problems. I paid through e-transfer and told me my order would be to me by Friday and that he would send me the tracking on Tuesday. It is now Thursday and I havent received an order confirmation or proof that the order was shipped. I tried calling on Wednesday, no answer. The answering machine told me to leave a message and they would get back to me within 24 hours. This did not happen. Only when I called the phone non stop did an employee finally answer. He told me he could not help me and the boss would call me within an hour. I never received a call. Im extremely disappointed in the way the service of this company is being conducted. It seems as though as soon as they received my money, they stopped caring about my order completely, and then not communicating with me whatsoever. It seems like Ive been scammed by this company but Im unsure if thats the intention or theyre just apathetic towards their customers. I will gladly update this review once I receive some sort of communication from this company or receive the product, but until then I cant say anything other than whats been my experience.
