We hired this guy under the all star sanding,refinishing & staircases company. Same company as this one just a name saying *** *** ******* ** *** ****** **** ***** He gained our trust then Gave him 50% cash for the job. Was only working maybe 3-4 hours a day. Communication was poor. ********* and **** We asked him why the Corners of closets were not sanded he replied No one will see it. He wanted a progress payment of $1000. Before the floors were done as he had been at our house for 2 weeks. When we told him we would only give him more money when the floors are done.he came to our house and supposedly applied 3 coats of polyurethane but he was only at our house 2hr. On the monday morning ,he was supposed to come back to finish the job but we got email that he could not come due to family emergency. We were not allowed to place furniture on floors until the Tuesday night. On Wednesday we placed some furniture and it scratched right away right down to below the stain. We realized they were not finished right. Floor was mat and not shiny, rough under our socked feet. We Decided to cancel our job with him. We had now.overpaid him. We got 2 other flooring company to assess the floors. Both told us there is no way there is more then 1 coat of poly. They also told us that the reason the floor color is so uneven has nothing to do with the type of wood but from the way the color and Sanding was done. We even found an area of floor with no polyurethane

First it was an excuse about a family issue, then a booked vacation, then another job, and then another vacation. He owes me $946.66 back and refuses to pay me. Looking into legal action.

********** ********** In Feb 2023, we hired Brandon to redo our floors in our new home. He had 24/7 access for 15 days and said it was no problem. We paid him half for a deposit and then nearing the end we gave him more money as he sent pictures of what looked decent. We didn't know that he had ****, ******* and never showed back up to complete. It was 1300 sq feet of pure disappointment. The edging was all rough, he splattered a can of stain and left it there, the entire living room floor would cause slivers in your feet. He damaged all the built ins and cupboards. There was no poly-eurathane in any room. He had advised us to remain off the floor for 3 days while it dried. He closed all the shutters so we couldn't see in until he had complete taking off with our money. We tried to use a local business close to our new home, he stated it was a 2nd generation. We hired him for the right reasons only to find out ** ** * *** **** ******** FAST forward 1 year later, we went with the expense of suing him, we now have judgement and he has been served. It gives a little satisfaction, as I now can write this review. We booked in October 2022 for a January 9th start. Gave him a 1250 deposit in December. Didn't show up, made excuses. Kept putting us off a few days or week at a time. Sick family, yet was posting from Cuba on ********. Wont give the deposit back
