    I spoke with Derek on the phone..he was polite n knowledgeable. He gave me a few ideas on purchasing a new dryer n was very helpful. Will definitely purchase my next appliances here.

    As of today I had a ********** authorize technician come to my home to take a look at the issues that I had with my fridge. The conclusion was that the door cannot close properly because The door was taken out and was installed incorrectly. Also the icemaker rubbing up against the door was another issue. Along with the shelf spring problem which will be rectified by the technician from **********.

    Their warranty is below average bought a stove been waiting for about 3 months for parts ask for a replacement but have to wait for warranty company

    I am sorry to hear of the problems you have had with the ********** range and upon investigation i have found although the range was definitely defective and being that the range was 2 years old and under the Extended warranty program , we have to act as directed by the warranty company and Repair the unit which Essex Appliance Centre Ltd is doing . We tried as well to have the range replaced by the Extended warranty company but they wanted it repaired so parts were ordered and when they finally came in we called the customer and set up the call . These warranties are designed for repair purposes primarily . I do apologize for the inconvenience of not having a range that worked properly and had it been up to us the range would have been replaced . But this decision was not ours to make . Hopefully it will be resolved on Saturday but if not we will continue to work with the customer and the warranty company to try and resolve the issue . The warranty company has informed us that if the repair does not fix the problem that they will escalate a replacement . The Extended warranty company is not owned in any way by the store , It is strictly a service that is offered at the time of the sale . Had the customer not had this warranty the repair would have been out of pocket as **********,s warranty out of the box is 1 year .

    Ordered fridge, came in a timely manner. I asked for the hinges on left. They came on right. No handles so I did not notice until delivery people left. They said not to plug in for an hour. After the hour I searched for the plug. On the floor at 74 years old I see several black cords inside the back of the fridge. Since I am no expert I called Essex Appliance. He said to search for black plug under round object under fridge. Frustrated and swearing my head off after ten minutes I pull with reckless abandoned I pull out plug. So I am left with an unlevelled fridge with doors on opposite side asked for. Sunday morning on letting out dog I find my hydraulic door closure which delivery men undid, broken. Door three years old. Essex Appliance r not the owners of old. I am all in on big box stores who charge for delivery and give u experienced service. No more Essex Appliance in this house

    Good day Miss ******** I am sorry to hear about your experience with us . All top freezer fridges are shipped to us with the handles on the left side facing and there were no notes on your invoice to switch the door handles so the drivers would not know to do this before hand . They would have done it in the home for you had it been pointed out to them . We advise customers that all fridges delivered be left unplugged fore an hour after delivery due to having to tips them when putting them into the home . It is usually not that hard to plug them in at a later date but the drivers are now instructed to show the customers where the plugs are so they do not have the same issues you experienced . Door closer ,s are generally fairly easy to dismantle and reinstall but if the drivers broke yours please send a copy of the replacement receipt to essexappliance@essexappliance.com and i will make sure you are reimbursed for the part . I wish that all deliveries would go without an issue but sometimes things happen and for that we apologize again. We still do not charge for delivery and we still feel that doing so would not change the quality of service we offer . Regards
