* ***** ******** ***** ******** *** ***** the experience I had with the Hy-Grade roof installation and the cost of this roof, I thought it would be a good idea to write a review ** ****** *** ****** ***** ***** **** ** ***** * ******** *** ** ***** ****** ** **** ** ****** *** *** ***** ****** ** ******** **** **** *****  I love the look of the Hy-Grade roof on my house and the quality of their material looks really good. Here’s a list of problems I had with their installation. After they had cleaned up and left, I went up to investigate the finished roof installation, I was amazed at how much plastic strapping from the wood strapping, scrap steel and nails that was left in the eavestroughs. I went up in my attic to check the roof vents and to my surprise the Hy-Grade roof vents did not even lineup close to the existing hole already in my roof. The Hy-Grade roof vent was placed at least one and a half feet below the existing roof vent hole in my attic. So the heat coming out my attic was just going up underneath the steel and hopefully finding its way to the peak of the roof and exiting out and around the steel cap on the peak of the roof, one roof vent they forgot to install the bug screen, shingles with double nails in one hole and nails not hammered all the way in, they did not finish caulking along the steel to the vinyl siding, the other issue I had was the very first time we had a decent rainfall, rain just pouring right over the eavestrough all over the front of the house on the front door and down the brick of the house, I’ve never had this issue before with a shingled roof and I had water was getting underneath the Hy-Grade steel shingles and the wood strapping was soaked in water So double check there work don’t rely on their inspectors to find any problems have a look for your self.

This roof from Hy-Grade Steel Roofing is the best roof ever installed on this house. We've had numerous high wind events and heavy rain and don't have to worry about a thing! The style of roof was a challenge and added cost, as another steel roof company would not even give me a quote and left us out on a limb with a leaking roof. Hy-Grade showed up the day after I requested a quote, they had a complete cost and had a crew in the area that could start in a week. We picked a colour added bubble insulation, the job was started and all finished a few weeks later. Just in time for the fall wind and rain storms off lake Erie and no leaks in the roof and we sleep so well when there is a storm coming. No worries about shingles blowing off and attic insulation getting wet! We are so pleased they were able to do this job for us. The cost is worth the benefits. Sleep being one of them. We are happy with our roof so far it has only been a few weeks since installed! The guys were good, cleaned up afterwards! This is the second one home we have done with Hy-Grade and definitely would use again *****
