feb 24 2022. i am a caregiver as my wife add a stroke in 2005. i have been using laur-ianne service for the 3 rd year. we have been using shared income for quite some time now, all 3 years using laur -ianne services. usually we receive almost all taxes we have paid in the year. so last year2020 $1761.79 my wife received . and i received $2511.24 . so this year also claiming shared income . i was told i was to receive $2893.13 but my wife was to received nothing.$0. i immidiatly said there most be a mistake. she answered NO. again i replyed that last year like other years , we usually receive almost all taxes paid ( this year $4356.88).she look up her computer and after 30 second , she answered back again no there is no mistake. i told her again there most be a mistake. she would not even care to check the facts. so i told her i would investigate with canada revenue agency. most likely will have to remake my return plus my wifes return$50+$50. like usual trying to speak to a real person at cra is almost impossible. so after 30 minute of running around, i called my cousin, he worked for cra all is life, he was a superviser , so he should know a thing or 2 about income taxes. he immidiatly knew something wasn t right. so he proceed to fixes laur-ianne s mistake. first she did not split our income like asked. and she also forgot to add a caregiver deduction. so her mistake was costing me over $1200. i add to make both my income taxe and my wifes income taxes return again. so she charged me $50 for my taxe return. but i have to do my taxes return and my wifes with another accountant+we cannot file trough internet, because it is a re adjustment, so we have to send it by mail, witch will take a lot more time then with electronic filing. so will have to reimburs my return plus interest, until both taxe return are corrected. so she how me the $50 she charged me because i have to do both taxes return and pay for it a second time +the interest i will have to pay cra.

    Hello,

The first time Mr. ***** came to the office, he was missing a slip to do his deceased wife Income Tax.  Since he was very eager to have his return, he ask me to file his and  we would do his wife later on.  I did charge him $50 for his 2021 Income Tax return.  As suggested, he brought the missing slip later.  I did his deceased wife Income Tax but since his was already filed I was not able to produce a split income.  When Mr. ***** came to get his wife Income Tax, he started to yell at my staff.  I went to meet with him but I couldn't explain anything... I had to ask him to stop yelling. I have 3 witness that can testify his anger.  He said he would call his cousin who worked at the CRA for many years.  Since I didn't want to argue with him I gave him back his wife file, did not charge him, and suggest that he actually consult his cousin.  Few days later he called back asking me if I would change my mind and I said no.  This is when he threatens me.

I really don't mind givin him back his $50... Just make arrangement so he does not come back at the office. Please!
