On July 25th we stayed the night under the assertion that this location had a pool and whirlpool. The Comfort Inn website itself listed those as amenities, and even once there the internal computer access (that you log into with the free Wi-Fi provided) listed the amenities of the specific hotel location as having said pool/whirlpool. The woman at the front desk, upon asking about the pool times, informed us that there was no longer a pool there. This was a honeymoon night away, just a few days after getting married, and we had booked massages beforehand with the plan (in our itinerary) that we would be able to spend a few hours using these features. I would not have booked a night at this location had I known there was no pool/whirlpool. We had to spend two hours in the room as there was nothing else for us to do before dinner. I have screenshots of this information from both the official Comfort Inn site, and the internal website information once in the room, along with some from other websites with that information. The woman had said those other sites are not up to date, but that does not excuse Comfort Inn advertising this falsely. I opened a case with the Customer Service for Comfort Inn (call Centre in the Philippines) with Case #********* Was told by supervisor there that since their systems showed there was no pool they would not offer a refund or a night's stay as future recompense - that it would be the hotel itself that was responsible (though I argued it would be corporate that would be in charge of the official website and having it updated). The case has been open for some time, but this specific location has not responded to it (prompting this complaint here). The file Comfort Inn is taken from the internal page that comes up when you access the Wi-Fi in room. The file Choice Hotels is their official page for this location (captured when I was in the room on July 25th). The other two files are external searches for this location.
