    On July 16th we ordered from ***************** 20lbs fresh ghost peppers for $409.36. We've been looking for fresh ghosts and wanted to keep it in canada. We were informed they didn't have any left in stock and asked if we'd like 4kg dried for the same price. I declined and asked to cancel the order. Fast forward to the 18th when i noticed a charge from ghost-powder for $540.70 pending on my cc. I emailed and asked to confirm that they had cancelled the order. They insisted i'd ordered Reapers despite the email chain clearly showing a conversation with fresh ghosts and a decline for dried. This went on for a while until I'm guessing when i sent them the original rcpt showing the charge for just the fresh ghosts, they said it was their mistake and they almost sent free reapers. I was not impressed at the over charge and when i'd asked about it, they'd said the site charges in USD and that the front page of the site says that and if I wanted to be charged in CAD to go to their other website. I let them know when i googled fresh ghosts, I wasn't brough to the front page and nowhere was there any indication that once I changed the currency to CAD- that I would be charged usd. At no point during the check out, not the rcpt, nothing. A Canadian company, with a .ca website, charging USD after I'd changed the currency to CAD. I was told they'd refund me- but when i checked the amount that had posted MORE than $540 and the refund amount LESS than $540. there was a $26 difference due to exchange rates. When I emailed saying I was absolutely not going to pay the difference for their mistake, I was told to "get a grip" Their system glitched so I'm supposed to be on the hook for their mistake? Charging for services or products not received - admitting it was their mistake and charging regardless, that's fraud dude. I called my credit card company and explained the situation to them and they refunded. a few days worth of wasted time and stress.
