On November 21, 2022, I had gotten my oil changed at this Mr. Lube location. Then on January 12, 2023 my vehicle shut off on the side of the road. It was towed to a local mechanic who informed me the oil plug had fallen out due to not being tightened, resulting in my car running out of oil. Rowe Motors, the mechanic shop, advised me to call Mr.Lube and inform them of the issue. A manager from that location, Thomas, handled it for me at Mr. Lube. ****** told me that he checked video records of my oil change and a step was missed when my oil change was being done. ****** said that the step missed was their fault and could have caused this issue. For the next week he continued to contact me in order to get the issue resolved. He instructed me to not get my car looked at by the mechanics shop it was currently at, but to drive it to a different Mr.Lube location in london, 1185 Fanshawe Park Road W, and have them do a complete work up to my vehicle to make sure that there would be no long term internal issues with my car due to running out of oil. On January 26, 2023 I gave my car to that Mr. Lube. They had my car till February 9, 2023 with no communication with me as to what is going on with my car. When I showed up to get my car they informed me that all they had done to my car was "drive it around twice". Their 'mechanic' said he didn't hear anything weird in those two 5 minute drives so he parked it and said it was good to go. When I showed up on the 9th I asked they write a report in their system that they are verifying my vehicle has no internal damage due to their fault. I also requested an oil change be preformed to check for shavings in my oil. After a large amount of push back they finally agreed to both of those requests. March 31, 2023 my car again shut off. My mechanic has diagnosed a hole in my engine due to it running hot with no oil in it causing a bearing to loosen and eventually shoot through the engine. I now need a new engine.
