Minus star rating! Another victim of the unfinished job by Dream Exteriors. Awaiting some kind of resolution to our issue. Materials and labour costs owed back for unfinished portion. Looks like a chronic issue with clients going back to 2022. 5 months waiting for siding to be completed. It seems there is always someone more important than us, because we are paid up. No more money flowing from us, so our priority has tanked. They are searching for new jobs that will allow for cash flow - big deposits and payments. Regret the moment we saw them at the London Home Show. What a mistake.

I’m assuming this company is no longer in business? They never did complete the work as promised.

Well back in January 2023 we have been consulting a lawyer about dream exterior. We had told our lawyer to tell ****** either give us back our $4,000.00 deposit or give us our product or we will take him ( ****** ) to court . ****** said he had our product and he wouldn’t give us back our deposit. So we said ok we want our product and wanted it by the end of January. Wellllll it’s now the middle of August 2023. And still nothing. Please people go through all the reviews on this company. I recently had dream exteriors do my whole house for my siding and roof got quote for 57,699 was my quote they were supposed to start in June 2022 and then didn’t start until Oct 2022 cause of materials on back order supposedly ! They finish my siding end of November 2022 and I had given him 71,000.00 he said he would be back in spring to do my roof and was told I owed a remaining 5,000 for my roof . Shows up beginning of august 2023 to do my roof then says after my roof was done I owed 13,800 . I contacted the ministry of consumers they told me I don’t need to pay and write him a letter stating why and he threaten to put a lean on my home and brought his crew to rip my roof off I am missing parts of my home (lights) and he won’t fix or give me my stuff back ! Stay away from this company I wish I didn’t have to give them a star at all they don’t deserve it ! Workers were awesome and deserve their own crew and away from this owner !

We were in the process of hiring Dream Exteriors when we gave them a deposit in order for them to lock in a start date for the project and for them to start ordering the materials needed. After 3 days, our circumstances changed and we were unable to have them do the work so we asked for the deposit back. It clearly states in the contract we signed that we had 10 days in which we could change our minds if we so chose so we were well within the time limit. It has been over a month since we asked for our deposit back and we have yet to see any money although they claim that the cheque is in the mail. And we are still waiting.

I wish I had not paid for the work in full. Because one of Dream Exteriors supplier has put a lien on our house because Dream exteriors has not paid him for the material supplied for our roof. You should hold on your last payment for a minimum of 60 days, see the Construction Act RSO 1990. We now have to defend ourself because Dream Exteriors has used the money to pay other thing The people doing the work had a poor attitude, were always late or finishing very early. Starting work around 9:30 AM, a lunch period and often finishing early around 2:30 PM. Wish I could not give a star as they don’t deserve one. We are so tired of hearing such nonsense from the owner of dream exterior. Shortage of staff and shortage of material. You can call the office and all we get is “ I will pass it on to the owner. And you think he would get back to you but noooooo. He takes your money ( deposit ) and that’s the last you will hear from him. We know we are not the only ones having to deal with the same issues. We just want our deposit back and move on and no where in the contact does it say “ No refund” ** **** ***** ******* *** *** ***** ******* ***** **** **** ** **** ****** **** *** **** **** ** ***** **** **** We already spoke to a lawyer. The owner of dream exterior will say anything to make himself look good. But listen to the reviews from customers like us who are not happy. GIVE US BACK OUR DEPOSIT

If you hire Dream Exteriors to do any work on your house, I can guarantee you will regret it. We had Dream Exteriors complete three projects at our home (soffit/fascia/eavestrough replacement, attic insulation and venting, and window replacement throughout the entire house) and not a single one of them was done properly, or without major hassle and setback. They were never on time (often several hours later than promised), dishonest where finances and material costs are concerned, and very confrontational when questioned about their work. Here is a very brief summary of the inadequacies we dealt with after hiring this company: Attic Insulation - Charged us for 17 inches of insulation. Upon inspection, it was noted that we only received 3 inches. - Owner refused to phone me back to make it right. I had to threaten to have my lawyer get involved before they would book time to come back and fix the job. Soffit/Fascia/Eavestrough - Metal pieces (and cigarette butts) left all over property. Told us to clean them up ourselves - they had supposedly done the best they could. - Screws missed in eavestrough, causing water to leak through. Windows - Windows ordered in wrong colour - One window ordered in wrong size (had to wait another 3 months for the new one to come in) - One window left off the order altogether (again, a 3 month delay) Financing - Offered 2 years, equal payments, no interest - Contract came for 12 months with interest (was told by the owner it was an "oversight". After all the dishonesty we saw with this company, I'm not inclined to believe him) At one point, after we had experienced the majority of our issues, the owner sent over one of his employees with a $100 gift card for *** ***. We were told this was to "buy back our 5-star review". It did not. I will say it again: if you hire Dream Exteriors to do any work on your house, I can guarantee you will regret it.
