*************************************************************** *********** after what we are paying out of pocket---while they have been having good earnings for all their company employees, management teams, and more.

They live in Toronto or Mississauga and think this issue is far away from them.
Here in Alberta, they have "USED a farmer and his land" for a tower for communication for others without paying for usage of the land for 16 years--since 2005. "Squatting" on private property with a shed, hookups, cement and the tower is an unacceptable way of doing business in Alberta, Canada.

Communication --(22 years of Canada's largest paging & wireless messaging company) has been very poor in resolving this situation. We have tried but it has been one sided. The contacts have been Al D.--Chief Financial Officer and Manager of the West---Gordon C.

Paging Network of Canada has left us with an ***** bill of $3,447.11, a lawyer bill, and most recently a tax bill of $5,400.00 from the County of Lamont, Alberta. All that already totally over $9,000.00. Then the fact that nothing has been paid for 16 years to the farm owner for using the land---which can range to approximately $7,500.00 PLUSSSS per year---times that for 16 years. ZERO dollars were paid to land owner. They can walk away and feel good about those kind of business dealings???

    PageNet Canada Response

    19/05/2022

PageNet's arrangement with ****** has more to it than just the comments posted. The tower on ******'s farm was previously operated by another company and PageNet agreed to take over the tower on ******'s farm and in exchange would pay for utilities and property taxes. PageNet did this until it no longer needed the tower in 2019. At that time PageNet cancelled the hydro service and stopped paying property taxes as the site was no longer used by PageNet. Final billing was arranged with the utility in 2019. PageNet informed ****** of this in 2019 and then PageNet also tried to find another tenant for the tower (for ******'s benefit and with his knowledge) but was unsuccessful. So in 2020 at PageNet's expense in the amount of $28,450 plus taxes, PageNet removed the tower and related items to restore the area to basic farmland.
