Paying 96.82 every month and there is no way of reaching this company for services promised on the contract. *************************************************************** They affiliated themself with the HVAC equipment installer door-to-door type of sale. The installer/Salesperson presents a Government energy savings promotion that is nothing else than a lease contract for 10 years for the equipment that is worth 10 % of the lease value. None of: ********'s rebate, Green Initiative, or promoted savings are true.
This financial corporation is behind this **** altogether.
They also register the lean on the property to secure their $200 device.
Stay away from any business that involves Skymark Finance Corporation.

Good afternoon,
Politely speaking, everything you have mentioned here is completely false. We are a financial corporation who offers billing services to various types of vendors across Ontario. We do not employ sales people who solicit people to enter into agreements. We do not offer or state any sort of rebates or savings. You had an account through our office for multiple years, being billed correctly and the first contact we have received from you regarding anything on your account less than two weeks ago. Should you have had any issues with how the vendor company sold you the products, we would have assisted you in resolving the issues straight away. Since receiving contact from you we have been assisting in every way we can. You may contact us directly again should you wish to discuss further. We are sympathetic to what you are saying, however everything you have mentioned would have originated from the vendor company. We can even provide you documentation which states and you agreed on the payment, the term, and also noted that you understood any rebates or savings promised to you were from the vendor solely, and not Skymark Finance Corporation. Thank you for the link. As a finance company providing services for various types of products, we are well aware of what you have provided. The ban came into effect for restricted products on March 1, 2018. Your agreement was not for restricted products as per the Consumer Protection Act, and furthermore, you entered into your agreement in June of 2017, well before this came into effect. ********************************* They claim to finance products and services from dealers. However, they take no responsibility for the fact that these "dealers" are here today and gone tomorrow.
One of their so-called dealers, sold my son a *********** thermostat in November 2019 claiming the service he would receive came with all sorts of "bells and whistles". That did not happen. They could not complete the installation of their full product set. Yet they charge the full service amount. I am selling my property now in 2022 only to find out they put a lien on my property.
Wanting the full $4500 plus purchase price despite the fact that my son has been paying them monthly for the last 27 months. How are they allowed ******* people like this and getaway with it?Skymark Finance Corporation Response

However, with regards to what you are mentioning is the "full product set", we would like to invite you to contact our office to discuss further at **************.
With respect to any file, regardless of whether the vendor is active or not, Skymark is here to assist and answer any of your questions or concerns.
And one of the requirements before proceeding with any agreement is confirming that the client received everything promised and was satisfied with the installation, which in this case was completed. Nonetheless, we are here to assist you in any way possible with coming to an amicable resolution for all parties. What is registered on title of the property is called a Notice of Security Interest and what it does is just securitizes the equipment until it is fully paid for. This is common and will not restrict you from doing anything with your property.
