The cheapest place I have ever visited. We had a worst experience here. *** ****** ***** ******* **** **** **** * ********* ****** Once we placed the order he said can I get you masala papad or peanut as though it was complimentary but we were charged 8$ for papad and 25$ for peanuts. 1. We ordered a starter and he says that should we make it a large portion as regular will have very less quantity. 2. A glass of beer is priced 15$ and a pitcher is 50$ in the menu. The pitcher does not even fill in 3 beer glasses and they charged 65$. 50$+15$ it seems, it is their own calculation. They charged us for two pitchers (4glasses of beer - 130$) whereas when you order 4 glasses it is only 60$ (15*4). When we asked about the quantity they said that is how their pitcher is sized. 3. The starter was 25$ in the menu and 28$ in the bill. 4. We used one bottle of water and the bill had 2 bottles. When we complained the manager comes saying we will give you a complimentary pitcher. We declined the offer, paid the bill and went away ******.Review from Navneet S

I had the worst experience at this place. ***** **** ** * *** ***** ***** ** ****** We were 5 people who went in for dinner. The menu said that shots are like $15 each, and they charged us $24 each. Second, the pitcher was $50; they added another $15 for choosing ******** beer, which is stupid because they have only 2 beer choices, and beer is beer. What do you mean by choosing a flavor, and they never mentioned that in their menu? The vegetarian and non-vegetarian plates, which weren’t even on the menu, were charged to us for an unbelievable $140, which had like 7 pieces of appetizer. The chicken tikka masala and malai kofta were charged more than what the menu said. We only used one bottle of water, which the server opened, and they charged us $18 for 3 bottles. With drinks, I believe every nice restaurant provides something little on the side, but they charged us even for that $18 for a few spoons of peanuts. Our bill came to a ridiculous $600, which should have been like $300 plus tax and their 18% gratuity. ****** ****** ****** *** ***** **** *********** *** ****** * ******* ** *** ***** **** ***** ****** ***** ** *** ******* * **** **** ** ** **** ******** ********Review from Sonam S

**** ** *** ***** ********** * **** **** *** **** *** **** ******** ** ***** **** ********* *****. We were 3 people and went for my brothers birthday and the staff was so forceful and tried to upsell without even giving us the chance to look at the menu. We went during happy hour on being asked about it our request was ignored and he continued saying i have something special and want to surprise you . FYI- no prices were disclosed but was just forced to us by the guy serving us. We just ordered chilli fries and a “PLATTTER” that was again forced on us by him and he put in order of it on his own. The food was the worst tasting food ever. Their were hardly 10 pieces in platter- 2 mushrooms, 2 paneer, 2 dahi kabab, a alloo tikki and 2 soya chaps. We never touched or opened any still water bottle but got upcharged still. **** ***** ***** ******** ** ******** *** ** ********* ******** *** ** *** *********** ** ************* ******** **** ***** ******* **. In total our bill came to $306.54 for 2 things. They charged us $42.12 for gratituty- for 3 people? **** **** Charged $100 for a platter which we never ordered but was ********** imposed on us. We never opened any bottle of still water but still charged us for 2 still waters-$12. The birthday dessert was charged to $25 without informing us that its not complimentary. ***** ******** ******* ***** ** ** **** ***** ***** **** *** **** ********. Farzi Cafe's 1) Server brought fries(which we didn't even order), they charged $22/- 2) No one told us that open tap water was $6/- each. They charged $12/- 3)They charged $24 TIP I demand $58/- back Several disappointing aspects during our visit at Farzi Cafe. The combination of bad service and overpriced food can certainly leave a sour taste in anyone's mouth. Starting with the ordering process, it's disheartening when staff members attempt to upsell items The portions we received for the Avocado chat and lamb tacos seem disproportionately small considering the high price tags attached to them. $21 for a few tiny containers of avocado and scarcely filled tacos is certainly not reflective of good value for money. Additionally, the delayed arrival of dal makhani order, coupled with its unexpected spiciness due to an overwhelming amount of red chilies, further detracted from our lunch experience. The exorbitant charge of $12 for two bottles of water is simply unjustifiable. Customers should not be blindsided by such inflated prices for basic amenities like water. **** *********** ****** ** ***** **** **** ****** ** ******* Furthermore, charge of $22 for fries illustrate a blatant disregard for fair pricing. Our overall assessment of Farzi Café highlights several crucial points that potential customers should be aware of. From the lack of a comprehensive menu on the website to discrepancies in pricing between local listings and in-house menus, it's evident that the establishment falls short in terms of transparency and consistency. In conclusion we were over-charged $161/- for 2 people lunch (only 2 main dishes), our negative encounter with Farzi Café ****** ** * ********** **** *** ****** *********** ****** ****** With a combination of overpriced fare, pushy service, and hidden costs, **** ***** **** **** *********** ***** ***** ** ****** ***** ********** ********* *** ********** ** ***** **** ***** **** ****** **** ******** ********* ***** ***** ** *****Review from Bane C

You will be overcharged for everything, the menu is not up to date and the prices are not accurate. The only time you find out how much you are paying is when the bill comes. 18% gratuity included without telling you even for a party of 2, you may end up tipping ontop of the gratuity since they do not tell you its automatic.Review from Gurjyot S

**** ********** ** ******** ********** There were many issues that I faced, *** *** **** *** ******* ********** ** ****** ******* ** **** **** **** ***** ********* **** - The menu doesn't show the exact amount of quantity that you will get in your food item or beverage, so the servers change their stance depending on the number of people on table - The servers push you to upsell every item or double/triple the quantity of any food item - My friend ordered a beverage (which didn't have quantity mentioned) and the server asked her if she wanted 2oz or 3oz. She obviously replied 2oz thinking that it's the basic version of which the amount is mentioned on the menu. But on the bill, we were charged double the amount and the server later told us that the basic version is 1oz and you yourself ordered double of that! -The server asked us what kind of water we wanted and all of us said just plain regular water. On the bill, we were charged 2 bottles of 'stillwater' of 6$ each total 12$!!! When we asked the reason, the manager and server both told us that you have said 'tap water' if you wanted free water. - There was nothing mentioned on the menu regarding gratuity and it's conditions but on our bill, they applied a gratuity of 18% on a table of 4!!! I have never seen that anywhere - usually restaurants charge gratuity on table of 7 or more and that also is mentioned on the menu. When I asked them to show where it is written, they were not able to find it and started embarrassing us instead saying that it's the norm and you will have to pay. *** ****** **** ***** ** **** ******* *** ********** ** **** ****** *** ****** ***
