Terrible service. ******* product Failed immediately. The car had no other issue except converter efficiency codes. It happens with cheap converters. They perform poorly if at all.

totally untrue and here are the facts. **** purchased on setp16/23 a converter for a 15-19 ****** *******. first email was on jan31/24 claiming check engine light was on. i asked for more info, he did not reply, but opened a claim with ****** immediately. ****** sided with us right away, he did not even reply to ****** because he knew he was wrong. fast forward to May7/24 when his customer contacted us about an issue with her ****** ********. sure enough she provided a detailed explaination how he admitted the converter was wrong ( as he purchased for an ******* and customer's car was a ********, they use different products) , hammered it onto the vehicle and then yelled at the customer, claimed she ordered the part ( complete lie ) and refused to fix his work. she provided a detailed email with invoice, etc to prove **** was wrong. the only terrible service is the work he provided to his customer.Review from Ben S

First time customer and would definitely purchase again. Had a question regarding warranty and instead of being upsold, the advice was to stick with the part i purchased as there was no need to spend more money for what I needed. Go and find that integrity in this day and age! Shipping was perfect and my part came with all necessary hardware and gaskets. Fitment was right on the money and quality was good so what's to complain about? Based on how the sale was handled I cant see why if I had a problem I would not be treated equally as well. I would say, based on my experience, you can purchase with confidence from these people. This business was prompt and delivery as expected. The product failed to solve my problem codes in spite of seeing three mechanics who all agreed that it was the catalytic convertor that was the problem. The company did not provide a solution and only re-imbursed me $200.00. I spent thousands sorting this problem out.Muffler Express Ltd Response

customer had MULTIPLE issues with his vehicle that resulted in the complete destruction of the item sold. As well, the customer's first contact was well after the warranty. Even due to both these issues, we refunded the customer half the purchase amount, something we did not have to do at all, and they still chose to leave this review. below was our detailed response to the customer ****, you have a bunch of issues there with the multiple MAF codes and especially a broken converter internally. a broken converter especially indicates a fuel issue, that is the only way a converter will break up into pieces. we have this included with the paperwork with the converter and listed on multiple places on our website. there is no converter manufacturer that will warranty a converter in that condition, regardless if 1 day old or 2years old. the item is well past warranty as well, being broken into pieces the item cannot even be sold as scrap to recover any of the precious metals internally. spoke to management, best i can do is refund 1/2 the purchase price of the unit, let me knowCustomer Response

I did not have multiple issues with this vehicle. After multiple mechanic visits it was determined to be the catalytic convertor that was the problem. Since replacing the garbage convertor the car is functioning just fine. I would not recommend this company even though they re-imbursed half the cost. That didn't cover even one of the mechanic visits to identify the issue. P.S. The convertor was sold as scrap.
