I took a slow leaking winter tire to Tripp on 4 occasions between 14 Dec., 2020 and 16,17 Feb., 2022. On each occasion Tripp apparently diagnosed the cause of the leak as leaking rim, mabe leaking valve stem, cleaned the rim and replaced the valve stem but the leak continued. The existence of old tire plugs was noted but Tripp said any leaking around those plugs could not be repaired. Within a few days of 17 Feb. 2022 I took the still leaking tire to another tire repair shop, They diagnosed the leak as coming from around an old tire plug, repaired or replaced the plug and the tire has not leaked since. I paid Tripp $45 each time they attempted to repair the leak, but without success. I have sought return of $135,, being the total cost of the 3 successive rim cleaning jobs, allowing $45 dollars for the 1st rim cleaning and replacement of the valve stem as of some value although it did not cure the leak. Tripp refuses to reimburse any amount and now refuse to communicate with me at all. . All of this story stated here can be verified from my FB message account, which ******* ****, a ********* ** ***** at Tripp Auto, would have the capacity to verify on her own FB message account. IF you want a print out of it, please advise.

To *** complaint department for resolutions,

Mr ***** was first in on Feb 10th -2022 for tire repair, at that time we removed all the tires from rims, grinding down the corrosion, resealed and then mounted with new valve stems and put back on his car. At the time he was in we did mention we didnt find a hole in his tire. I then received a message the following day 1 tire was down in air. Feb 11th I set up an appointment for us to check it out and see if we could find a leak. Al canceled and said he was sick. Feb 17th he took the car elsewhere and had it fixed without taking it back to us first to check our work or see if we could find a leak. 9 months later I'm contacted by **** via facebook that he wasnt happy with our service and requested his money back. in his messages to me he comments he had brought this up with my father to talk to me which my father didn't mention to me at all untill I asked him when **** sent me a threatening letter saying he was going to the news with this. I also received daily threats and random count downs and messages that didn't make any sense and which is why i blocked him. We warranty our work and in the many letters he was nasty to me and my family I still honored the warranty work but we were never giving a chance to look at our work/tire again to comment what would of been done. He is also requesting 135 $ when only 1 tire was an issue? and we offer labour to be covered for warranty but not monetary reimbursements especially when the complaint was 9 months after the service. Thank you, ******* ****

    Sincerely,
