    Looking for earbuds on ******** Marketplace find a pair and open conversation with the seller. They direct me to the store for pickup. When I get home with the product I notice that the buds are still playing inside of the closed case. This is weird for ******* earbuds. I start to investigate and find many more deficiencies. I discussed the matter over ******** messenger with the associate and he claimed that he didn't know they were counterfeit and that he'll connect with their supplier. I don't have time to deal with this as I'm leaving for vacation in 2 days. Fast forward 2 weeks, back from vacation time to deal. Tuesday the 3rd I go to the store and let the same associate know that I'm there for my Monday back. He claims that he's not the manager, and that a manager is not there. I come up with a compromise and tell him that if my money is not returned by Friday, I would file a report with *********************** ******** Anti-Counterfeiting Network, ******* ***************** and recruit friends to leave descriptive, negative reviews on their ****** Business Profile. Friday the 6th comes and I reach out via ******** messenger so that he will expect me. I arrive at the store and I am told that he will only return 60$ of the 100$ original total. The reason for this is that I had the product for so long. He claims it has been a month and a half and I correct that it has been three weeks. He accuses me of not being a man of my word, that I said in text that I was not asking for my money back. I let him know that I'm not requesting, that I am demanding and I rebut asking about the integrity of the business selling counterfeit goods knowingly or not when he found out his corrective action was less than good. He accuses me of being rude. I haven't yelled or sworn. I take a step back for good measure to further increase the space between us and so that he's not feeling threatened. Still I stood firm. He finally begrudgingly agrees to refund.
