            This company prepared my personal income tax for me for the last 9 years This year they never filed them in time and I was charged a late filing fee and interest on the outstanding amount The owner admits it was his problem but won’t pay the penalty

            Good evening,


            As stated in my previous response, I have "owned up to my error" and apologized for this.


            I am not contemplating paying the penalty and interest.


            I am not contemplating offering my services for free next year.  As I have already stated, I have not decided if I am continuing my business for another year.


            George and I have already spoken, by telephone, before George contacted the Better Business Bureau.  During that conversation, I apologized and explained the above.


            I thank George for his business and wish him all the best in sourcing another income tax preparation provider.

            I am rejecting this response because:
            This does not resolve the issue.

            I paid for a service and did not receive the service I paid for

            i appreciate The acknowledgment of the error but it still cost me $175 for a businesses mistake. 
            they should take responsibility for their work and pay the cost related to their error

            I fail to understand why S&S doesn’t understand 

            I wish the BBB would give an opinion on this matter
