Hello I got an email from Nissan about a recall or my 2020 Sentra. My right tire was really wobbly and felt loose so myself and my wife brought both of our cars in. We both have the same vehicle, make and year. After a day at the shop I was informed that my brakes had been completely destroyed. I needed to repair pads, brakes and rotors. However the tire rods where in "ok condition" This vehicle is 2/12 years old and has 49000km on it. My wires vehicle is 2/12 years old and has 47000km on it, her brakes where deemed ok. I was not happy that I had to pay $2000 for a new sets of brakes considering that the car is only 2 years old. After 2 days I picked up my car and noticed that the initial issue with the tire was still there. I brought my car in a week later and just like that I was informed that the tire rods needed to be replaced. I find it really hard to believe that a brand new 2020 Nissan needed a whole new set of brakes for $2000 and find it even more interesting that I got a receipt that stated the tire rods where in ok condition, only to be told a week later that they needed to be replaced.
