    Brought my vehicle to Lakehead Motors for repair, I was hearing metal noises coming from my vehicles trunk, when looked noticed that my engine plates were off the vehicle, when I went back to them they were trying to not take responsibility for them being off, and refused to put back on.

    Thank you for your feedback.  We have looked at the situation you address and it seems that your concern is with the previous service garage where the repairs to your vehicle were done.  Lakehead Motors had no involvement in the repairs addressed in your feedback.  We suggest that you contact the service garage where the vehicle was service just prior bringing it to Lakehead Motors.

    Lakehead motors did do the repair for the starter and wire connector.  Which would require the plates to be placed back on!!!

    This involves my 2017 Jeep Renegade. It involves a serious design flaw by Chrysler. The wheel lug nuts are covered by a chrome cap which is purely cosmetic. With time these caps swell to the point that the tire wrench supplied with the Jeep no longer fits on the nut. The result is either stripping the nut, or complete removal of the cap which results in its destruction. This is an ongoing problem that happens with every tire change. In trying to switch out my summer tires for winter tires 3 weeks ago, I was forced to destroy one of the caps. However, the nut underneath the cap is so frozen, I couldn't remove it myself. Upon taking the Jeep to Lakehead Motors, I was informed after they worked on it that the nut could not be removed, but while working on the tire, the technician destroyed the other 4 caps. The end result is that they could not do what needed to be done, but that didn't stop them from charging me $144.64 for both shop time and for the cost of the nuts they ruined. **** ** * *********** ********* ****** ****. If I get a flat tire and need to make a change at the side of the road, I will not be able to do it.

    We have reached out to the customer and try to provide explanation regarding the issue.  Lakehead Motors is a Chrysler Ram Jeep dealership.  We sell new vehicles manufactured by FCA and provide the manufacturers' warranty on all brand new vehicles.  All vehicles retailed go though vigorous required testing at the manufacturers' level as required by the governing bodies.  We have not come across other customers facing this particular problem nor have we heard from other dealerships having this issue.  We strongly encourage the customer to contact the vehicle manufacturer to relay the perceived concern.

    Lakehead Motors follows strict guidelines as suggested by the manufacturer when repairing and servicing any vehicles.  We stand 100% behind our work.

    I am rejecting this response because: I sent the same letter I initially wrote to Lakehead Motors, the BBB, and to ******** ******. I have not heard back from ******** ****** but neither have I heard from Lakehead Motors. * **** ******* ****** **** * ** *** **** ******** ** **** *********** **** ***** **** *** ****** ***** ******* the fact that when Lakehead Motors tried to switch out my tire, they ruined all four of the studs they removed and had to replace them. Perhaps my greatest concern is that Lakehead Motors is not willing to address this issue. **** *** ********* ******* ** ********. To me, this does not speak well to their customer service. For as much as this could potentially cost them dollar-wise, I would think that their main concern should be customer satisfaction. * ***** **** ***** **** *** ** ***** ***** ******** ****** ** ****** ********* **** ***** ******** ** **** ****** * ***** *** **** ** ****** ******** ** ********** ** *********
