I deposit my BTCs to Newton few days ago, it took over 24 hours to be processed, it's way longer and quite abnormal behavior compared to those bigger exchanges, like *******, ***, ********, ****** etc. So I was thinking about if the deposit took that long, how about the withdrawal? Therefor I requested to withdraw exactly the same amount of BTCs that I deposited, then it's been over 48 hours so far, it's still the 'Pending' review status, in the meantime no one from Newton contacted me to tell me what's going on there. 2024-April-29 10:41 am => Finally I got the response from Newton, guess what? After hold my withdrawal BTCs for over 72 hours then Newton tell me my destination withdrawal address is "with connections to illegal *****, ***** and other **** related occurrences"? Oh great! *** ***** **** **** *** ****** ************ ***** ************ **** ******* ****** They also told that they will suspense my Newton account in 3 days and request me to trade all my remaining assets (crypto) to fiat (CAD) and then withdraw my entire fiat (CAD) balance to my bank account. If really like what Newton claimed, why shouldn't they frozen the money and report to police or RCMP? Why they will push me to use the money ** ************ ** ******* ****** ***** *** ***** **** ******* ************ to sell to Canadian dollar and then send to my local bank? ** ** ****** ***** ****** ** ****** ******* ********* ***** **** Since my previous deposit into Newton was Bitcoin, why did Newton force me to sell it for Canadian dollars on their exchange instead of directly returning the Bitcoin to my original wallet? Finally, under Newton's pressure, I had to sell the assets in my Newton's account. At the same time, Newton ********* earned $1,996.90 CAD commission from my '*******' account ** ***** *********** ** ******* ****** ***** *** ***** **** ******* ************* ***** *** *******Newton Crypto Ltd Response

I have not been able to access my account for over months now. Seems like a possible *** issue. Numerous emails sent to support, no one has answered. Found the complaints and bounties email and contacted them. I also told them I had concerns with a ******* who was impersonating Newton. Finally heard from someone in the complaints department and he mentioned he was also concerned and stated this was fraudulent activity with which RCMP and police may be involved. I was then told by the complaints department that my ticket would be flagged internally but it's been another 3 weeks and still no word from anyone despite 2 more subsequent emails sent to bounties address as well as complaints department. I am distressed over this and just want my funds out! There is no reason for this lack of communication. I am trying to be patient and persistent at the same time and feel this is ******** to withhold someone's assets from them.Newton Crypto Ltd Response

Hi ****, we're sorry to hear that you've been the victim of a scam. Our fraud and IT security departments have both investigated, with our fraud manager most recently emailing you on April 19th at 3:34pm. Please ensure that you are checking your junk mail if you did not see this message. We are always working to investigate and shut down any scammers or fraudulent/imposter sites but this is not always possible or easy at all to do. This is the job of the police as we have minimal resources to combat worldwide fraud. We recommend resetting all of your online account passwords and ******* to be safe. Please file a police report as we advised previously and we will be happy to assist with their investigation in any way we can. We have provided you some scam education and red flags to look out for in our email to you, however, please ensure you reach out to our team directly if you have any specific questions. Thank you.Review from Terry S

Hi *****, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the confusion over multi-factor authentication and your account. The support team has been experiencing an increased volume of support requests over the past 2 weeks, so while our typical response times may range from 24 - 72 business hours, current support responses may be delayed. Looking into your ticket, it appears the team has already been in contact to help you reset your multi-factor authentication method. Regarding our social media - we do not accept support ticket related posts on our *********; this is clearly stated in the community rules on the ********* sidebar. We're sorry to hear about the Discord verification method causing you difficulty, however, this is something the Discord team should be able to help you troubleshoot. Thank you for your patience and understanding. - The Newton TeamReview from Mike W

Newton Crypto Ltd. Cryptocurrency Exchange has the following major flaw in delisting asset: - They frequently delist crypto assets (COINS) from their exchange and forcing user to withdraw or liquidate their asset. - When they delist assets (COINS) they often fail to notify or warn many of their customers by email as their email server has issues. As a result, crypto fund is liquidated without warning and strangely they are notifying these customers by email about the liquidation once it happen ! *** **** ******* * ********* ******** ** ***** ***** ****** ************** *********
