    I attempted to sign up for an account, but the email address I used was typed incorrectly and therefore, I never received a confirmation that the account was created, so I did not know I had an active account. As a result, I had no idea I was going to be charged, until I noticed a charge of $99.68 several months later. I then noticed two more charges before that. When I contacted the company for a refund after noticing these charges for a service I was not using and did not know I had at an active account on, I was denied. I was charged and was denied a refund even though I could not use the account, because I had no clue an active account existed, or what the email login was that was connected to the charges. I’ve received very poor customer service, *** **** **** ** ********* ********* *********** I would have had no way of knowing how to cancel the account or ability to even use the service on this account, because there was no email that I owned that was working on the website to log in.

    I signed up for a three-month subscription for $52 only to see they do not have pet sitters in my area who use their website. I requested a refund, and they terminated my account. ***** **** * ***** *****

I understand your frustration with not finding a pet sitter in your area. This is why we have a basic (free) membership, in which users can search various areas across North America to see if the site has potential employees in the area who can fulfill the requested job duties. I have reviewed your message history, and I can see you started a number of conversations, most of which looked promising as employees on our platform were seeking interest in your job. We inform you multiple times during the registration process and throughout our Help Center that we do not offer refunds and provide our Terms of Service, which explains exactly how our platform works. This policy is in place because we allow you to use the site for free before committing to a subscription. As a self-serve platform, we can not guarantee you will find a job or hire a caregiver. Regarding terminating your account, you requested that we do so via email. Our support agent cancelled your account and informed you that you would have full upgraded access until October 3rd, 2024, the length of the subscription you purchased. I will share your emails and concerns with our product team, as we meet weekly to discuss how to improve our platform and develop new product features. Thank you for your feedback.

    This site uses a trick that is as old as the internet itself, and one that is very common on ****** dating sites. That trick is that there are more **** postings than real and those **** postings all promise TWICE the going hourly rate for housekeeping (in this case). In order to have full access you have to pay for a membership and even if you do that, you quickly learn that those postings are all ****. ***** ** *** ******

    I'm unsure if my complaint and this response are being posted publicly, but I hope that it is. It's important for people to realize that shrewd operators know what they have to do in order to avoid being shut down, or at least to delay being shut down for as long as possible. In the industry *** *** *** **** ******** ** *********, it is very common for a site to run for a given period of time and then enough complaints come in that someone shuts them down. They merely use the same technique with another site, and usually they are operating more than one site at one time. The mechanics are exactly how I described them in my original complaint and as I also mentioned, it is very common among phony dating sites. The basic premise is to lure people in with the prospect of finding what they want on their website, but in order to have full access, the people have to join the site and pay a membership and that is how the operators create revenue. The response is a cookie cutter example, of which you can find anywhere online and it is enough to satisfy or delay the agencies that are investigating them, in this case the BBB. The only real option open to victims ** ***** ***** is class action legal suits against the owners/operators but I am unaware of any such actions at present or in the past. Again, I encourage anyone reading this to r******** *** **** *** avoid this site at all costs.

    This company from now and again has been taking money out of my account. I don’t even use this website. Iam here having a hard time keeping up with my bills because they have consistently continued ******** money out of account. Can you reimburse my money before I take further steps.
