    I believe there has been a misunderstanding with my broker. Despite my request not to renew my house insurance before the renewal date of July 15, 2024, it seems that my request was overlooked. Consequently, I am being charged for a policy that is covering a house I have already sold. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

    **** ****** I went with Mitch last year when the agent went above and beyond to procure the best package available. * ******** **** ***** ** *** ** ******* *** ****** ** ******** A month ago this week I requested a quote to add my son to our motorcycle insurance. They did not shop around. I was presented with and was signed up for an exorbitant amount. Through other providers I found an equivalent package to what I'd been previously paying. Four weeks of phone calls. About 30. Several emails and a cou tle of times on automated holds for countless minutes each. For 2 days last week the automated system said they were closed to celebrate the amazing job the employees were doing. I finally got a call back today. I expressed the situation. I was told it would be addressed immediately, that I would get a call back this aft with a resolution. No call back. I had to put a hold on a payment to them and then subsequently close the account to prevent nsf's.     Home insurance went from about $900 to $2600 over 3 years. Asked every year why with no response. When we got $2600 quote went on line and found **********. $1600. Amazing, manager called, wanted to give quote next year. Once again amazing, they found me house insurance for about $1400. Why couldn't you do that last year. Now problem with auto through them. Got quote, paid itm then about 2 weeks after new policy in effect want to raise premium. Called 930 am this morning, now 3pm, got nothing to do but leave review. ****

    Used to be good but now they never answer the phone and they don't get back to you when you leave voicemails or their receptionist takes a message because the "service team is in a meeting". Didn't get a 2023 renewal letter, didn't get new pink slips, they just started taking more money without even telling me how much the rate was changing to. And surprise, sitting on hold already for 20+ minutes to straighten that out. Does anyone work there? Or just one person? **** ******* ******* **** ***** *******

    This company will screw you over with your insurance company. They take down your information incorrectly and leave you to try to prove it and wash their hands with you. They will up your insurance with no information and when you get it it's much too late. I didn't get calls, I had to contact them to solve the issues and when I got letters it left me trying to scramble to figure it out. Very disappointed. M y other insurance company is way better took down correct information and all was fine. I only had my car insured though mitch insurance and never again.

    After 5 years of poor quality service with 3 concurrent policies, they cancelled one of my auto insurance policies which put my family at risk without auto insurance for 10+ days without our consent or any notification to us. I found out only when I received the cancellation letter from my insurance company 10+ days after the cancellation was done. I had to get out of my way to work with them and submit all documents to fix the problem they admitted they created by mistake and reinstate my insurance policy. They promised to investigate and get back to me which never happened after 3 weeks of them admitting to the mistake. They're hard to get hold of, they do not always get back to me by the promised date/time. They do not always return phone calls and emails. They make mistakes on the policy after giving them all accurate details of drivers and cars, they do not have answers to my questions arising from documentation received from insurance company and always need to go back to insurance company to get answers, and finally they do not process the payment after providing them with credit card payment details which results on risk of cancelling policy when insurance company does not receive payment by due date months after credit card details were provided. In all those incidents, I had to get out of my way to fix problems the broker continuously keeps creating due to their sloppy service and attitude of inaccuracy. As a broker, they get in the middle between the customer and the insurance company to make the customer's life easier, but in their case, I find that they just create more work for me unnecessarily and in fact their gross mistakes already put me at risk of not being covered by insurance, and when that happens all I get is an unintended equivocal apology. If you're a too busy customer who does not have the time to meticulously review all details and documentation from insurance companies and brokers like I do, this is not the broker for you.

    In response to the reply from Mitch Insurance after I filed my review with BBB, I am still dissatisfied with the ************** handling of Mitch insurance who tried to avoid contacting me after I reported the issue despite the fact that I requested escalation to higher management seeking compensation for the inconvenience and for putting my family at risk of driving one of our cars for 10+ days without insurance coverage while prepaying for it and without our consent. Perhaps they thought that I would just forget as time goes by and let things slip. I have two auto insurance policies with *** through Mitch; the first one expiring on Jan 21, 2023. I decided to abandon Mitch and deal directly with ***, but when I reached out to *** few days before Jan 21 it turned out that I would have to cancel that policy on the expiry date and the premium quoted did not reflect the discount I already have because I do have two auto policies on the same file with Mitch. Alternatively, I would have had to pay penalties for the premature cancellation of the other policy before its expiry late May in order to combine both policies on one file created directly with *** skipping Mitch. Unless Mitch could fix things by doing all the following, I would like BBB to proceed with posting my review on their web site against Mitch Insurance. - Send me a check of $1000 for the above damages. - Work out all the details with *** to get both my auto insurance policies set up directly with *** without the brokerage of Mitch insurance. This should not result in any penalties, levies, or premium increases imposed on my account with Mitch or *** due to any cancellations or changes to the expiry dates of the two auto policies. If it is much easier to keep things transparent to me without changes to the expiry dates, that works for me. Thanks, ***** ********
