I purchased a **** **** E350 **** and brought it to them for a safety. It was late September early October 2022. They called me up to tell me the motor blew up when they tried to bring it in the garage. He stated i needed a new motor and and showed me the damage when they ripped it apart. The **** sat in the garage for months and i contacted him several times about my **** till he found one. He contacted me after the new year (2023) to say he found one from his *** supplier. Then a couple weeks later he call's me to say the motor he had received was no good he was going to get another one. That took weeks and when he received the new motor he contacted me and said that that motor was no good either need a another one. Finally he contacted me to say he found a good motor and was starting to work on my **** He contacted me to say that i needed a new power steering pump and recharge the **** system and i said go ahead. He contacted me to say the **** was done and i went down April 22 2023 to pay for safety and motor bill. To my surprise i got a bill for ******** for the motor and a bill for the safety dated March 31 2023 for ****** which he didn't notify me on what it needed for a safety (most of the parts i had) including a new battery. He took it upon himself to put one in.(Battery).So i paid and drove my **** home to my surprise it leaked all over my driveway so i checked the oil and it was empty took 7 litre's of oil so i brought it back to him and explained what happened. He said he will add a oil treatment to the motor cause its a new motor needs to allow parts to lubricate. He said take it for a run for about an hour and see how it runs. I took it out and when i hit the service center it was down 3 litres of oil and motor started to knock so i took it back. I told him i paid a lot of money do not want it back till it purrs. Now he says motor garbage need new one.he replaced front calibers and starter without asking me and want's me to pay? I'm still waiting.

customer brought in his newly purchased **** **** e350 rv for safety oct 11/2022 with a running problem to which he attempted tune up with no *************** had severe internal problems which were previously worked on and upon attempting to drive rv into shop large internal mechanical noise was present. inforrmed customer to the problem and waited for him to arrive at shop to discuss situation. engine removal was required to assess problem and were instructed to do so. engine had to be replaced due to piston and engine bore damage -all this was previously worked on. this vintage truck engine is rare and numerous engines were considered before best available was acquired. this took a long time  due to the availablity and cost concerns -none of our control. engine was installed and did have lifter tick noise to which additive was installed and customer was to drive rv extensively and monitor engine. note ..power steering and a/c issues were only discovered after engine was running. when customer finally made highway run he then informed us of large oil consumption -not found on basic road tests.  we then elected to service pcv system and replace valve seals add use different additives to address ring problem taking numerous highway trips to evaluate progress -all at our expense. during these road tests we experienced seized calipers, broken tires, and starter failure in tilbury -all needed to be corrected to continue evaluation. it was then determained that engine replacement is required and customer was informed that difficult engine search process was inevitable!  after rejecting some engines our supplier has located best available engine in *** and will be shipping it. we do not have any control  over availabilty of used vintage engines. all thru this unfortunate situation we have done everything we can to repair a "used" engine and informing the customer of necessary steps to repair this problem. again we have no control of the quality and availabilty of used vintage engines. when the "used" engine arrives we will inspect it and contact customer then complete the repair
