    Hi,i am having considerable difficulty communicating with and receiving my refund from Galaxy medical alarm systems. i have attached a Word document that explains the problem and includes email correspondence and a summary of telephone conversations that occurred earlier. thank you for your attention to this. ***********************

    I still have not had any communication from Galaxy Alarm Systems as of 12 Sept 2023.

    I received a cheque from Galaxy Alarms in the amount of $114.88 on Sept 15.  This is less than I should have been refunded.  I feel that I should have been refunded $215.00 for the 5 months that i no longer needed the service .  However, after ************************ insistance that the contract period ended on September 30 not November 30, I agreed that the refund would be in effect for the period of time that I called to cancel the service - June 29th to Sept 30 --  that would be 3 months to be refunded $57.44 x 3 = $172.32.   Even if the refund were calculated on the date the equipment was returned (July 13) to September 30, that would be 2.5 months or $143.60.  I find this to be incredibly frustrating and given the circumstances unbelievably unprofessional on the part of this individual.

    We rented a Medic Alert pendent from this company and the contract clearly states that at any time we wanted to return this unit a refund would be provided for the unused months. We received it in October and had to return it in Feb. It was sent back by Courier and Galaxy Alarms has stated they received it on Feb 10 and a refund would be issued shortly. A number of emails to ***** ******** asking about status of refund and he just replies a refund will be issued tomorrow and I,ll get an email to confirm. I,m 83 years old and now in a retirement home and am wondering how I can get my money back from this company. Can you assist or advise me?? Thanks

We received an email on Apr 7 to say refund was processed and it appears on our credit card statement. Sorry for delay in response but had to wait for Credit card statement to insure it was processed. Thank you to BBB for assisting with this. Much appreciated.
